Ride!

I figured I would post a ride since it's been months, so check the ride thread. Right now it's just me and a friend, just going to head over reddingotn and up mount lemmon, should be a very easy and relaxing ride. We're leaving early to beat the heat(6:30 at Circle K on Tanque Verde)! Probably chill on mount lemmon and grab a giant cookie, feel free to join!

RG Thursday, maybe Nigel will grace us?

So, how about a nice showing this Thurs at the RG ?
We can tell stories of how Allyn and Nigel are going to swap lead going up the back side of Mt Lemmon. I'll already be up top, relaxing with a cool beverage whilst those pokey riders bring up the rear.

Where's that little avatar of the guy hiding behind the wall? Imagine it here. :)

Can't make it to RG as we have an appts Thursday & Friday. We'll see you Sat though.

Does Cathy offer a chartering service with her new airplane? Maybe I could get her to fly out to Virginia and pick me up at my mom's house.

Skip can come and get you. I taught him a few flying tricks and surely that is plenty good to get you. I even told him about what to do in case the engine quits...

Start making airplane engine noises, like the motorcycle engine noises y'all make in your garage when no one is watching, only louder. Fixes everything.

I have no idea how well it works...but this is BADASS and if it does work well seems like a really cool alternative to the XR 650R.

There are several of those Ninja builds on here and that is one of the better ones I've seen. I'd still be worried about the exhaust down there with no protection. They work great for fire roads.

New Guy on the Forum

Howdy folks,

I'm not a new rider and I'm not new to Tucson, I just have not been doing a lot of fun stuff on my motorcycles lately and I'm hoping to change that. I watched a couple videos y'all have posted and it looks like y'all are having a blast.

I wanted to get to the Red Garter tonight, but a buddy just bought an MV Agusta Brutale and he wants to show it off at Cycle Gear's bike night... so I will be over there.

Hope to see you at the next Red Garter get together.

Matt

I saw that. Having put about 40k miles on a 650 engine (both on a 650R and a versys) I can saw the engine is efficient and reliable. I'd question the rear suspension on that particular build and as mentioned the OEM exhaust location. Stll, it's awesome people do that sort of thing.
