As far as the xl not being good on difficult terrain, I'd talk to azredline about that one. He brought it on the charoulu gap (spelled wrong, I know). And chiva falls and never once hiccuped. Granted, he's not a noob, but still, the bike is capable.
Here's to hoping everyone is having a grand day!

The tightest bonds I've ever made in my life were the ones with my military brethren.

ADV bonds come next.

You haven't offended me. . I just figured you were having an off day.

Cool to see you can paste DualSportMaps directly into the forum and allow manipulation of the map without logging in, didn't know that was possible.

Wish I could join you in this ride, it would allow me to meet the inmates and ride what looks like an interesting ride. My sister in-law is having her salon opening on Saturday night and I'm projecting that 0600 is going to be a non-starter due to copious amounts of fermented beverages.

I promise to show up on a Thursday one of these nights.

What time would work for you?

Doesn't have to be so early, just what I was proposing. You'll learn that most of my propositions aren't worth much.

Hangovers are great for riding. They help you focus.

For some reason it's never turned out that way for me. Last time led to a lot of stupid errors which meant I checked to ensure the ground was there a lot, with my body and bike!!

Consider me a non-attendee for this ride. Have a good time riding.

between the name (moderately scary) and the start time 0600 (very scary) I'm gonna "skip out".

Is tentatively on for Sunday 7/29/2012.

Valencia somewhere near Casino del Sol. I guess we could do the parking lot, but I wouldn't plan on dropping there if you're planning on leaving a vehicle.

As early as humanly possible. I'd like to say 0600, anybody really want to do this that can't do that early?

Chime in and I'll add/update the details.
I'd like to go. But...

0600? Holy crap man! That would mean that I will be setting the alarm for 0330!!

Sounds like 0800 is going to be better for everyone.

Will that work for you?
