Taffy has the ignition module @ his shop in London. If I can get him to get around to testing/repairing it, it'll be ~ $350. New modules are unobtanium. The only other option is to change the stator & ignition module over to a newer system. I don't know the cost - but details are over at husaberg.org (or what ever the husaberg forum is).


PhiSig - if someone dropped half a dozen c-notes in front of me, I'd give them a cold beer & help them load the 250. It needs a petcock, a kill switch, a bit of wiring (the Trailtech voltage regulator is wired up for a >4ah battery & it needs to be changed to a <4ah battery setup -- I have the diagrams, just never got around to doing it).

Both of them are plated & have clean titles.

Damn, I'd be interested in either one. Except on my way home from work yesterday my radiator started leaking and my truck overheated. It never ends. Get a little discretionary fundage and something else is going to blow up.

It seems like I am still part of the Tucson group. Paul and I went riding yesterday, yes in the sand, and I had a little off. I was going over some whoops, now that's a surprise for this area, and the bike decided it wanted to go to the right. Well as you all know a body in motion stays in motion until something stops it!!!
Well the ground stopped me. Flew about 20ft and hit, and YES sand bloody hurts. Don't know if anything broken or just bruised, but gotta go to court today, so off I go, then stop by urgent care for a couple of X-rays.

How many peeps of the Tucson group are hurt now? Surely our run of injuries is over now?????

I would suggest going to your regular doctor and avoid the Urgent Care at all costs. They're alright if you're trying to get a pain reliever for a cold, but definitely not the place to go for evaluation of broken, displaced, etc bones. I've made this mistake and making a very long story short ended up with two herniated discs in my neck due to a complete f-up of a diagnosis that I was too ignorant to question.

Anywho, my two cents. Hope you heal well. Last sand woop off I had ended up modifying a Palo Verde on the side of the trail a bit.
