![]() Edit: Oh, and I am dissappointed that I didn't get to see the video. I thought dirtbike porn would be accepted on ADV. Maybe it wasn't dirty and rough enough? I know I was only able to get a little air and never fell down... Oh, and I deleted my notification E-mail so I don't have the original link, can someone that still has it shoot it to me?

It probably has changed from your day...
Just take a Lorazepam and CHILLLLLLL! I was speaking of what the guy in the 'big brown truck' thought. Feel free to brow beat me @ Nimbus on the 5th. ![]() (BTW, some editing and musical transition would be TOPS with future vids!)

Video is gone
We all wonder why this is Our day is saddened I'll proceed without haiku. Thomas: Alright! I'm glad you finally found a true dirt cruiser! I bet that 250 really scoots on the trails. I'm looking forward to the next OAM DS ride. Dave |

Easier
It is a lot easier to maneuver around but something was missing.
I decided it was ~50hp and 550cc's. It was also the front knobbies for cornering but it was still better than the battlewings. The front washed out a couple of times but was recovered by the nubs when the battlewings would not have. I still didn't have the needed confidence for some real jumping but I am going to get there quicker with this one. I got some good air at the end of the day 'short-cutting' a powerline road

Made it
I only made it to about 7 minutes (mmm, asian music) but it looked good. I will watch tomorrow, as I like the riding. I will try out my predicted route tomorrow (but probably on the 250) to make sure that everyone can ride.
My focus will be on everyone attending, so it needs to be big bike friendly. I want max participation (I will prefer being slowed down for new guys to being done in a sporting manner) with all our bretheren. This being said, I wear jeans, a street helmet and a motorcycle top. Please do the same as I don't want a merit badge for CPR!!! Yes, I saw someone riding in the dirt yesterday with no helmet and short-sleeved shirt. God, I love riding!!

Anyone want to ride with me Sunday, 29 FEB?
I know a few nice loops and we can play on a particularly fun section of the border road. Tucson folks I'd be happy to meet you in Sonoita.

No one will be able to ride with you on the 29th of February... not this year anyway.
Try 2012! I won't be able to ride this Sunday. My Son turns 6, so I'll be on B-day duty. |

Ride for next weekend
Sunday, March 8th.
I am going to do the loop I just did again on Sunday. I will be taking off from the Citgo on Tanqe Verde around 10 am to ride over Reddington Pass. Near San Manuel the road turns into San Pedro and then into asphalt. About 200 yards past that, I will turn off Veteran's Memorial Hwy and onto Rosendo Rd. Rosendo T's into Mt Lemmon Road, so left up the mountain, arriving in Summerhaven a little after 1 (presumably) for lunch. I have no idea of where to eat up there so I am hoping someone comes along that can help pick a restaurant. That is 66 miles from gas station back to asphalt (a hair over a hundred by the time I got home in SE Tucson). It took me about 2hrs 45 minutes to ride today with no real stopping and a *ahem* brisk pace on some of the dirt roads near San Manuel. The ride is big bike friendly (even battlewing friendly) and not so long that anyone will be stretching their range (but you could gas it up in San Manuel if you really have a tiny tank). I will mention it at the next Tucson ADVmeet as well.
