I rode up from Oracle today to the gate at the top of the F.S. road.
No issues a few muddy spots.
The gate at the top was locked, but I think you could ride around it
if so motivated.

Thanks for info. Rode up from start of highway up mt then down dirt road (gatge open) to San Manuel then dirt road back around south side of mountions. What great views, fantastic ride. I am putting this in as an option for the Great Western Trail.

did the bull springs road 2 up with my daughter and all my camping gear. wanted a "shake down" run to test everything and see what our limits were together/loaded on the bike. have a much better idea now. had lunch at the velvet elvis, then to senoita and madera canyon to home. not a bad little day. only thing that needs work is the seat. gonna call carlos tomorrow....

Jason, I have a gel seat I will sell you cheap. That low fender looks good...until you get in your first mud and then the thing breaks like a cheap watch.

Well dang. I met up with KampberBoB yesterday, and we rode out Redington Pass with intent to go up Mount Lemmon Control and down the paved side, but we had conflicted reports on the Control Road condition, so we opted out. It was getting a bit late, as well. Now I know!
