Ride up Monday

Ride Name: YZFCathy Wring out Redington ride
Date: Monday, yes tomorrow Aug 5th
Meeting time: 9AM
Meeting location: Tanque Verde Circle K (17271 E Tanque Verde Rd)
Estimated Length of Ride: 40 miles tops
Difficulty: Medium, I ride like a girl.
Notes: We went here Sunday and I wrung out the 200, now I want to do the same with the 525. There is fuel at the Circle K, no restrooms sadly so plan accordingly. PM me or I'll assume no one is coming, go solo and bypass the Circle K.

Ride now. What shop you at? I am trying sales. How about you?

Thank you! At the moment it is a cheaper option that purchasing true dual sport. I ride my bike to work every day here now so I am planning to sell truck very soon. That leaves a big spot for a dual sport in the garage!

120 miles of easy dirt roads and pavement.

Was thinking next Thursday (8-8-13) but would happily wait until the following Thursday (8-15-13) if it would mean a bigger group or be more convenient for folks with the longer notice and all.

Sounds like maybe Thurs 8-15 might work for more riders, always tougher to get a group ride together on a week day.
My bike may be ready by 8-15. Sounds like fun as I haven't had a chance to explore any of the area. Serious hopeful. I will keep you posted Don.

Solo Redington

A quick solo hop up Redington to make sure the 525 is up to snuff before we head to WESTFEST this weekend.

I wonder if I remember how to ride that 4T monster.

I wonder if it was you i talked to today when i called to see if you guys had a Kenda 270 for my KL...

You're right, the store does seem geared away from dirt. Got my mc endorsement there though, great class. Might come order some parts tomorrow, though I admit CSA gets my business alot too.

Anyways, I live 10 min from there. Maybe see you on one of these rides coming up! What's your steed?

Dawg pix

Great pix Dawg. I am looking forward to this weekend of riding up there. Hope I got my jetting right, I never bothered with it the last few times we went up and my 525 almost wouldn't run up high.
