Is that out in Canyon Lands park? Your pics look great (particularly the one with the cool rock formations in the background) I really want to get out there at some point. I can't decide if I want it to be a dirt bike trip or a mountain bike trip. Guess I'll just have to do both someday.

It is....and thanx!...I saw lots of mountain bikes that day, 4 'dirt' bikes, and a few 4x4s.
It took 6 hours total for the interior route, but I stopped for a nice long lunch (at potato rock) and took some pictures, so 5 hours moving. Kate was flawless.

I go every year (almost) - Young, Flagstaff, Page, Escalante, Toroweap Pt, Kanab, and Moab - this was my first year there on a bike that can actually do the 150-mile White Rim/Shaefer Trail route with fun technical hill climbs finishing with easy 75mph+ canyon carving on pavement back to Moab.

1 week total 1,800 mile round trip from Tucson. No other bike can do that - KTM 690 EnduroR: THE epitome of dual sport.

That sounds like a challenge! My little 225 will bravely take it on (some day).

Really nice bike - my riding buddy has one - but there are other choices.

My 2007 Husky 610 has as good or better suspension and almost as much power (better at low RPM) - but where it really shines is a wide range 6 speed. Over 100 MPH top end and yet a great low speed 1st.

KTM put a tight ratio tranny in that bike - other wise it would be the best.

Hows the overall durability of the 610? Weight? What year did they go to FI? Any problems with the FI bikes?

So I got my Overland News email today from Johnathan Hanson of Overland Expo. And I see that our very own Becktastic, aka Bonsai Becky, is setting out on a Adventure ride to Argentina today.

You can follow her adventure on her blog at http://www.motoventuring.com

Safe travels Becky and Andrea.

Yeah, she actually just finished riding from Alaska to San Diego last month. She took a month making preparations for her South America trip and is already off again. She was thinking she would probably be gone for about a year.

Quick chime in.....anyone know of an employment opportunity with weekends off? Regardless of pay, I need something with Sat Sun off. Wife and I never see each other and we don't have an abundance of friends here considering we are 3 month Arizonans (word?). I would appreciate any direction you may be able to steer me in. PS, I have an Associates degree in marketing with 9+ years of customer service experience and just a bit of sales that I've earned at my current job.

What happened with your gig at Ride Now? Were you treating customers too nice and your boss got mad?

Don't know of anything in particular, but what about all of those call centers, is it Afni? There's also Geico.
