I'm there! I haven't done the complete Chiva loop yet - hope more
than a couple of us can make it...

I'll check back later to make sure it's still on. !

Let me know how it looks, I've been there three times and it hasn't been more then a piss trickle any time. I really want to see it running good one of these days, and I'm off Tues/Weds.

Gnadenlos did a nice job doing lower Chiva loop today on a XR650L. It was really loose today and on a 330 lbs underpowered BRP. Got a little scare when we forded the creek and it died after hitting a boulder in the middle and wouldn't restart. Nothing that a plug change out didn't fix. Good job Danny.

Wow!

Thank you HTM for the Chiva loop ride today!

I had an incredible time and can't believe I made it... sorry your boots
got wet, but thanks for pushing me out of the water crossing! (...and
off the hill side...)!

That was great fun - Thanks for the ride!

Until next time..

Pics or it didn't happen...

Nice job Danny, wish I could have been there. Sounds like you leveled up!

Say, how much water was there, guys? Thinking of a 4x4 expedition if it's wet enough.

Not that much where we crossed...we didn't go back to the falls itself, only all the way around it.

Which way did you go around the loop? By the falls first or last?

We took the easier loop...falls first, clockwise.

Short notice, but if anyone is thinking about going to watch the game, a few of us are at Native New Yorker on Speedway.

Noted, thank you. How much difference in difficulty going counter?

Has anyone found any decent routes on the dirt roads bordered by roads 79 and 77/177 north of Tucson? There seems to be numerous roads criss-crossing the area. I don't mean challenging just a decent loop or something. I moved to the north side and if I had a decent 3-4hr loop close to my house that would be cool. Maybe getting off pavement at willow springs road just north of the 79-77 junction.

There are a great many rides in that area - off of Willow Springs or south off of 79. You can go all the way to Florence on dirt, or swing east to Mammoth or Dudleyville.

If you have a GPS go to dualsportmaps.com and down load some tracks.
