I was hoping that was a desert tank i saw on there..
I have two of the rubber choke to carb pieces around. misplaced both, but should be able to find one with garage spring cleaning.. I'm a little torn on this. Is it street legal? How did the salvage part come to be?

It should be street legal, they are from the factory.

The salvage title is actually a bonded title because the previous owner lost the title and had no interest in reapplying for it. It's all sorted out and clean.

Hey Gmoney, does it rev up properly now with the new cam chain tensioner?

That makes sense. I'm plenty familiar with title games as all my bikes have been 80s models. Is there no balancer at all in the 250 - hence no doo issues?

I haven't decided on Saturday yet, but I'd like to go to someplace this weekend I haven't been to yet. I'm considering Tubac or Bisbee. (This isn't a trail ride.)

Marana State land closed

This was on facebook today. It appears the state land dept. has posted closed signs out at Marana. I am not sure of the exact area of the closure but according to the post is the area east of I-10 at the Marana exit.

*********SPECIAL ALERT - LAND CLOSURE!!!******* Please pass this info on!

If you have ridden the Marana riding area recently you might have noticed some new signage. Please stop and read it! I'm saddened to say that this signage states th...at the State Land Department has closed part of the Marana riding area due to "overuse" to ALL recreational permit use! No horse, dirt bike, or quad riding, hiking, mountain biking, etc. From the State Land Department we are told that everything South/West of the power lines is closed. We don't know how far South this extends at this time but we will update when this info becomes available. Someone uniformed about the closure and caught riding there could be in for more than just a ticket as it is actually a criminal offense! Note the AZ Revised Statutes listed on the sign in the pic below for the specific laws involved. Please pass this info on!

Can't say I'm overly surprised. Been a lot of people cutting new trails out there. As well, it's become the "Go and Do Donuts" area for four wheel drives and such. It's a shame, love riding out there.

Thanks for the heads up.

Overall, people are their own worse enemy.
