Allyn,

Do you know this loop off of Wilmot? Check out the video.

Looks like a great place to ride but might be too much sand for a GS.

Assuming you're talking about the thread I linked ... don't know who they are but I have seen the names here on some threads before.

Hey...I'm probably 50/50 on making the ride on Saturday. My sister in law is in town but I think they may be going to the Gem Show.

Russ it will be a fairly easy ride. If you want I can bring my CRF 250X to ride?

Wohoo! It was a partially clogged pilot jet. I could see through it, but the hole was mighty fine. A safety pin, some carb cleaner and few minutes and she was back together and idles like she oughtta! Going to set the air screw at 2.0 and dial her in now..

I ride this area several times a week. The sand south of the end of Wilmot is not too bad but a newbie on a GS might be a problem. On the single track, I've ridden it a couple times on a 250. Tight switchback but you can "walk it" around. Not too bad. Assuming he takes you on the Hog Canyon/Adobe Canyon route to 82, it is KLR territory. May not be able to make it but it is a really great route. You might even see troops of Coati on this route. I've seen 30 or 40 as well as the huge single male Coati Mungi.

This sounds like an awesome ride route, but I am busy Saturday. Any chance I can get a route/GPS tracks? I'd love to try it, but I'm not free on the weekend.

I have partial tracks. I have the segment from Greaterville (Box Canyon) across to Gardner Canyon from Melendez Pass road all the way through Hog Canyon and over to Adobe Canyon exiting onto Hwy 82 between Sonoita and Patagonia. I don't have tracks of the Gardner Canyon/Cave Canyon connector but it is easy to find. It starts and the very end of Gardner Canyon road by the locked gate. Go right and it is about a half mile downhill. Beautiful Trail. PM me your email address and I'll send you the tracks.

No dash lights, no tach, no brake/head/running lights, neutral indicator, nothing. I know the mag is generating voltage because I can hear the battery bubbling as soon as the bike is running. The wires going into the R/R look like they've had a hard life, so I'll help them out. But I really just need to do some traces with a volt meter and track it down. I had a spare RR from the 600 that probably would have fit, but it sadly went with the 600. What's happening in Pomeranian?

Um pretty sure I didn't tighten down the pilot jet. Went from idling awesome to a little black smoke to tons of black smoke way rich won't idle. I think the jet fell into the bowl. Lol. Is loctite a bad idea on brass?

Cheers :)

Trials Next Weekend

This is as close as they ever get to Tucson. It's a good dualsport destination, just east of Superior. No charge for spectators. If you come to spectate bring some hiking boots so you can get to the good stuff, and pack a lunch.
