How much are they asking? This will be the deciding factor. With the current economic situation here in the states, I'm seeing V Stroms selling for ridiculous low prices both new and used.
The "A" is for ABS brakes. I've seen on various web site where folks have substituted other forks and tree assemblies to the DL650 V Strom. This might be an option or I'm sure you might be able to find the parts needed on Ebay etc.

The "Towing with a WeeStrom" link takes me to a thread about luggage. Am I doing it wrong?

[QUOTE-Night_Wolf]If you see a broken link (or no link), please PM me so I can investigate it further & include as warrented [/QUOTE] I guess you missed this line in the Index eh? BTW if you click the Footpeg link it does indeed work and goes to a review of the Install Procedure of Ranchland Rick's. How you find Ranchland Rick isn't the purpose of this Thread Index but if you had read the page on the Lower Footpeg Install you would have found the link to BUY the lowering kit

We don't link to threads to other forums in the ADV Thread Index. If someone wants to make a duplicate thread on ADV with the info contained on another forum, the new ADV Thread can be linked in the Index

Yes, as those discussions are nothing more than pissing contests and serve no useful purpose other than getting everyone wound up
