Scorpion XDR Invasion Pant- Anybody looked at them?

Online they look decent, and come in tall sizes. Has anybody checked them out firsthand?

There's not much on the net yet about them. I'm trying to find out some info before I get a local dealer to get them in. The jackets seem to be good quality.

I saw that thread but its the 'Awe' pant which has leather sections, while the Invasion is all textile. Most of what I've read is all the same manufacturer's info.

Why? due to airflow? My KTM jacket has a non removalbe liner but still vents pretty good.

I just ordered a LGT Commander jacket, and a pair of XLT Invasion pants from newenough.com I'll try and get some pictures and impressions up when they arrive. I kinda wanted the Shock and Awe jacket and pants, but those weren't offered in tall sizing, so I went with the Commander/Invasion set.

Invasion Pants + Comannder Jacket

I have worn the pants on my last three rides here in suny and warm Costa Rica (including low lands of San Carlos and up over the Cerro de la Muerte at 3600 meters). I'll wear them again in cooler weather. In warmer weather the non removable rain liner turns the pants into a sauna. The zipper ventilation above the knee is almost of no use as opening does not stay open wide or big enough for air to enter. It gets worse once you make a rest stop at noon. Will probably purchase the Scoprion Deuce pants unless the come out with a new revovable liner verision or use ventilated riding shorts and for now ride with Icon jeans + knee guards in hot weather

I love the Comannder jacket so far only one complaint. If buttoned up without the tall wind collar the point of the left flap chafed my neck pretty bad the first times i wore it. I use it every day. Had a Texport Tourtrack jacket before while it was 99% waterproof, ( i never put on a rain jacket just the pants and my t shirt would stay dry). The xdr has much better ventilation though

Rgds

I just picked up the AWE pants and Shock Jacket. The pants fit well, maybe a little tight around the cuff. Although that is with both liners in. The Awe's aren't available in Long/Tall (yet) but for me they seem just about right, I'm 6'1" and roughly 220 lbs and ended up with an XL. I bought the AWE's mainly for the leather on the ass and knees after a previous off with just normal Kevlar which burned through in a matter of feet.

What size jeans do you wear filabuster? I'm a 36Wx36L and sometimes even the tall sizes are too short.

I bought a set of commander/invasion last fall...so far great for cold (-3c in snow/sleet)weather... but next summer it's for sure going to be too warm.

Good fit/comfort, good protection.
