SXC is a LC4 bike, this thread's for the LC4 and RC4 bikes.

It's a larger bore - 533cc is a "540". Mine has 1mm larger Kibblewhite intake valves, a ported/unshrouded head, stock 606 cam and a 12.5:1 piston. The power is noticeably more robust off idle into the midrange, right where I want it for what the bike's purpose is. Since KTM killed the 78mm stroker crank and the 552cc motor, this was the next best thing I could come up with.

Here is my 08 530. This bike is outstanding. I have done the standard mods. JD jetting, Akro pipe, Acerbis 3 gallon tank, 14/50 gearing. I have a set of supermoto wheels in the garage just waiting on tires.

I'm saying there is already an LC4 thread; and every other bike posted is an RFS/XC4 variant.

lookin good

I'm glad to see that there are some smaller bore adv riders out there and like to see this thread growing little by little. I know these bikes aren't for long street and dirt expeditions (continents) but it's cool to see the pics of them in remote locations where the bigger bikes don't usually go. (I do like the bigger bikes, just haven't graduated to them yet!)

Just Bought it...NOS!

After much debate (I had a thread on this) I decided to buy a leftover 07 RFS 450 EXC. I got a heck of a deal, along with the 1/8" showroom dust! I have already re-jetted it at 1.8 hours and put a skidplate on it as sometimes I ride in loose rock.

Take a looker..

I sure have appreciated those who have had input on my questions so far..

Here is a few pics of mine. Picked it up in January, so I've only ridden it in the snow. Love it.

At 548cc mine is technically 18cc over the limit of this thread, but I'm adding it anyway.
