What about the light kit on his camera. Man that photo looked just like daylight!.
Maybe he camped out there all night ( warding off any tag snatchers)and waited till first light to take the photo.
I know thats what I'd do
I know its getting so hot and the traffic is so bad in Columbia I'll be getting up real early to get this next tag

Ok, 9 this morning but I do like the HIDs on my bike I very seldom even get a chance to turn on my high beam though.

It is getting hotter down here as I was leaving Chesnee a fellow started telling me how hot it was going to be today when I told him I was going to Columbia he said its supposed to hit 100 there today. I drank my entire camelback during my ride.

New tag

No forfeit I just had to go riding this morning to get a photo.

If burroughs & chapin had gotten what they wanted this area could have been severely affected. I used to take my dogs camping here and there are a number of trails to wander on.

Because I can here are a couple of photos of Christine

This is her a couple of years ago

This is one of the last photos of her. We lost her last monday.

I knew I was close to the time limit. I just looked at the times of my posts and had about 20 minutes to spare. I should have left the house a little earlier. No matter though you have your new mission. Enjoy the hot, humid midlands.

Ok, I think I have the area figured out, but finding that exact spot will be very hard.

National Park Rd about 2 turns before you reach the visitors center at Congaree National Park.

This road always brings a grin. Its like a cottonmouth; Its short, curvy and will bite the hell out of you if you tempt it.

Ok, now where are we heading?

Rvrhwki were you on I-26 heading to Columbia like you were coming from the north? I saw a rider with a Hi-viz but thought he was on a KLR.

I almost posted this picture instead but I figured it was deceiving as it is a short stretch.

Sorry for your loss. Who's the small dog in the photo?
Yesterday was a nice day for tagging, I'm sure it was just really hot.
My only concellation was that I spent the day @60 degrees F.
Guess we'll see if you and Rvrhwki bat it around for a while.

New Tag

A prehistoric creature was unearthed by an Arteologist at this location in 2003. This creature from the species Meihatsu Saurus still roams the earth in a slightly evolved form that is known for a genetic defect doohickitis. The current landowner filled in the dig site in 2007. You can still see some of the bones protruding from the straw.
