Sorry about the larger size of the photo but I thought it needed to be large. It is impressive.

You can park here to take the photo. Good luck finding it.

Thats a great idea! I'm in! Earlier the better...its gonna get hot soon! I know there is an off-road park in Manchester State Forest(between Columbia and Sumter...I think Wedgefield is the closest town). I think the permits are $5 a day. I've ridden down there and checked out a few roads. It looks pretty fun from what I saw. Lots of miles of roads and most are soft sand/dirt/mud.
There is also the area where they hold the SandBlast rally but I think most of that is on private land and hard to access( thats closer to York, SC).
I can only hope the tag in back in the upstate by then!

I was reading through some of the old posts and looking at some of the tags when I saw these posts. So when are we going to meet in Columbia or thereabouts?

Google jockeyed it, but I just left that town this afternoon. Any of you locals know who belongs to the black KTM 950A w/Gobis that was parked outside Jillian's/Wet Willy's last night?

I think the Manchester area would be a great location. Poinsett State Park has a nice campground and cabins that were restored recently. For those that need to stay connected they have free wifi . A variety of riding ,several good barbeque restaurants nearby and tons of history in the area.

I'm interested if my travel schedule permits.

TAG - whohoo

Dang - finally got me one!

Flying Saucer parking lot off Park St near Senate St in Cola

BTW - sorry about poor pic quality - cell phone pic. Also, Saucer was rocking, so parking lot was kinda busy.

Good snag! Hope you went inside and had a couple of brews while you were there!

Good job grabbing the tag mnahack. It's addictive soon it will consume all your waking moments. It has grabbed a hold of me over these last several weeks.

Just let it go. You can do it. The 1st step is going 3 days without getting a tag.

I'll hold back for a day or two, but I have a question for mnahack to clarify his clue. Is there an admission fee to this park?

This bridge looks a lot like the one in the background.
