So Banjo, you 're a reenactor as well?

Is there a common "gene" here? Are we all seeking to be "dirty" or "out of the ordinary" . Obviously we like the outdoors.....don't mind the inconveniences of a little weather.

Looked at some of your pics from smugmug. Is there anything you guys won't tackle? Some pretty neat stuff. The guys I ride with might kringe just a little over some of these areas. I have less brains than they do though...and less viable nerve endings! My ride might be a little bit of a beast for some of those trails , but the adventurer in me still says I should give it a try. Hey, 85 hp oughta gets you thru most things as long as you fit( and have friends to help you out). I road a section of Wesley Crk rd a few weeks ago after snow and ice, alone...not smart! ( I figured maybe someone would ride thru there about once every 2 weeks or so)

You know the TV series..."I shouldn't be alive", was thinking I might be their next episode!

Enjoy Sandblast...its looking more like I will have "honey-do " list.

NEW TAG

The guns on this gate commemorate the Patriot militia that marched Overmountain and on to Victory at this site that was THE turning point of the Revolutionary war.

Banjo:
Did you take a spin around the track?

Did you enter at the south end? There was only one gate open that I saw.

No...did you?

North gate was locked. South gate was 1/2 open. There were some workers inside and my wife was riding pillion so I didn't press my luck and do any laps. I just snuck up to the closest corner (#1) and snapped my pics.

...looking back at your pic it appears you were at the exit of turn 2.

p.s. I was spending the day with my wife and late afternoon she happened to suggest taking a short ride ...... but I thought I'd get "bruced" again for sure as nice as it turned out this afternoon.

Bulleteer!!!!! How do you do that???

I zoomed in all around that area and couldn't get the "little stickman" to register as a ground level viewing. All I could see is ...oops , never mind don't want to give away any hints!

I think you have your own personally controlled satellite...am I right?

Yeah Banjo, I did take mine from turn 2. I was tempted to do a lap but track looked a little soft from the previous nights rain! I could see me explaining to the local authorities that PU Skunk ( WHO??) made me come out here to take a picture as part of a challenge game and I got my bike stuck in the mud

Did that once back in my foolish college days with a CJ-7 in a dried lake bed.( sank it up to the floorboards) Ended up being pulled out by a subaru brat( embarassing) but not before Mr H.P. had a talk with me.

I'd go get this but I got things to do and maybe if I get'm done , I can ride in the mts tomorrow!
Wish I was going to see the Sandblast...I always miss all the good stuff!

Okay Bulleteer, sorry for my accusation about your private satellite. I used the same satellite and found it this time. Lot of acres to cover!

You know, I need an electric motorcycle. That way nobody can hear me leave...I'd be back before they missed me!

Saw a special about electric drag bike...0-60 in 2.5 secs. You better hang on to that one and maybe have a velcro bottom!!
