I don't think they look and see the lowcountry is more than the charleston area.

Just a reminder to keep eyes and ears open guys and gals, and maybe suggest I stop attending ADV dinners, as my bad luck always hits the day of or the day before. Yesterday, the Bandit was hit in my work parking lot, folding up my handlebars (left side is now about 3" in and 2" higher than before), scratching my tank, broke a footpeg, and dumping ~4'x4' patch of gas onto the ground. The aftermath:

Front before and after

Side view before and after

Footpeg (I broke its counterpart 18 months ago, so I guess this one wanted to be replaced too)

Now I get to do all the fun estimates and insurance junk, which can hopefully be resolved in time for camping (or I might just take the newly revived mighty 350!). Great timing though, as Mr. Fox102 with the other Big Bandit just replaced his bars last night and is giving me a great deal on his old set.

draechon, I'm glad the bike was parked this time. A little more flat black paint will fix it right up. You only have just over a week to get it straightened out.

Do you ever feel like this guy? Although you are probably too young to know the cheesy 70's Flintstones. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Luck_Schleprock He is no ten feet tall walking avocado.

Leave the little thundercloud at home though. Good luck.

Cry

Only a flesh wound. Can be fixed with large amount of money.

I'll second that... I had one of my bikes hit in a parking lot a few years ago. I ended up getting twice what the insurance adjuster initially "adjusted".

It just took a trip to the dealer for a repair quote.

Grab, details later. 34 20.286′ N, 79 31.452′ W. Marker is near Oak Grove, South Carolina, in Dillon County. Marker is on South Carolina Route 38 near Exit 181 A (Interstate 95), on the right when traveling east. The picture of the sign kg4lho posted in the tag photo pretty well explained what it was and did.

I'll see everyone at dinner in a few minutes.

Nice!

Dinner was great and it was nice to put a face with the name. Will have to make the next dinner down your way.

Now, where are we goin'??

New Tag

Here you go. I believe there are several sailors playing this game. I would love to have one of their products.

Good luck. It isn't too hard to find. I expect a new tag posted tomorrow.
