Actually, I counted the Rocket flight as my grab and set off on my KTM all afternoon to generate a new tag. Put in a 150 miles or so (that's two tanks of gas on a Duke!) and grabbed three different ones. Just sat down to figure out which one to use and found out I was ruled out!

Oh well, I enjoyed playing hooky from work for the day even if I did put in 150 air miles and another 150 KTM miles in the process!

Sigh...

Lee...

P.S. Yes, it looks like an Extra 300, but it's actually a home-built (okay, hangar-built) from a kit, called an F1 Rocket. There is a very similar aircraft called a Harmon Rocket, but this one is the F1.

If slidefighter has a tag ready to post and no one disagrees I would be glad to have him post up a tag this time as I told him to bring his plane to the tag before.

If everyone prefers I could post a new tag as I have one ready.

I did get to see the plane make several touch and go's while I was there though.

I agree with KayceK - Slidefighter should get the grab for landing his three-wheeler at the tag. Anybody else want to weigh in?

If slidefighter doesn't have a new tag posted by 8am tomorrow I'll post up a new tag to keep it moving.

Hey guys, I'm good with this either way---all in all, I had a great day! First time I've blown off work in years. See if this one is okay with the 'experts' and if so, have at it.

Remember, I live in Ridgeland. This cemetery is in a swampy area just south of a 'gem' of a little town. Heading south out of town a ways, turn right and go 20-30 yards on hard packed dirt and look to your left. There is no sign...here or out on the highway. Go too far south from here and you actually 'climb up' to the state that seceded fifth instead of first.

Good hunting!

Sweet, a home-built! I remember an article on a RV-4 conversion, I believe it was called Harmon rocket. Tandem seat Air planes are the coolest. Nice grab

Caycek5: Hope this is 'grab swap' okay with you. Good move on the Dizzy Gillespie call, by the way! I like tandems because you have a second seat when needed, but you're sitting on the centerline all the time with the best view in the house. Especially nice when flying by myself. Here's a shot as it was going together.

Everyone should have one of these. I have this one instead of kids---this is their college education (or would be, if I had any)!

Never claimed to be an expert, but I can tell a motorcycle from an airplane. Glad you had a fun day and all, but I didn't see a motorcycle in your "grab" photo. If you had ridden your KTM back up there and properly grabbed it, I would have been impressed.

Hey, I didn't jump in the game to cause trouble (this IS a game, right?). I'm good with it being motorcycle only. Forget my grab, I'll just bow out---no problem.
