Great clues. I'm also among the informed. Lucky to others, there's a cloud heading that way right now and I've done enough rainy riding this season coming back from the tail of the dragon.. Besides. Adam, my tagging partner is not available til tomorrow. A quick 35min ride up 31 too.

New tag

Approaching a new market section of town that is on commons grounds.
dyrtybyrd. that was a great tag you had there. You could not see anything from the main road. It was fun spending the day on the ruckus.

Yes the black ruckus has a wig & marti gras beads. It makes it more "urban"

Way to go Darmie!! We'll have to try and get together the next time I'm in the area(Oct. at the earliest).

Love the scoots. Btw, have you been there before? I think it's a pretty neat park with all the trails, boardwalks over the marsh and along the Intracoastal Waterway. And I've never seen many other people whenever I've been there. I don't think a lot of locals are even aware it exists.

Darmie, after reading your last post again, it seems certain you hadn't been there previously. It's not like it's right next door to you, after all. I'm glad you enjoyed your ride to find it.

Since I heard about it from a friend, I go there often when I'm in the area.

No, I haven't been there before, although Adam has and knew where it was located. I do want to go back and check out the walking trails. My problem and I shouldn't be this way is, on these tags, I'm about business. and getting it posted, then play around. We went to the McDonald down in town for internet. I should not be this way, but I've read the reports where other riders were not and lost a tag. Thanks for a great tag. It was fun on the ruckus.

Now, does someone need more clues or we just being complacent? I will say that the area near there offers some great shops and nice food. You could even catch a movie while your in town. You could even take in a helicopter ride just right up the road.

I agree thanks for the nudge.
It's a park, on the old air force base in myrtle beach.

Anyone?

Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaab !

Finally! Here is the pic:

War Bird Park off Farrow Parkway at the beach end of the Myrtle Beach Airport. Here is a pic of the sign:

I stopped at a McDonalds that had WI-FI, but Smugmug would not upload my photo. After riding all the
way back to Columbia, I found my photo in Smugmug. Anybody else getting fed up with Smugmug?

Anyway, it was a gruelling 400 mile ride, but I just had to rescue the tag from those lazy east staters.
New tag up soon and it won't be in Myrtle Beach.

New tag.

In 1780, a cheeky fellow by the name of Tarleton, burned the plantation home of his schoolboy chum,
Henry Mouzon. II. Henry was able to escape into the nearby Puddin' Swamp. This is just one of the
Swamp Fox Trail murals. Good luck and enjoy the riding.
