I couldn't find with a casual Googling, but then again I knew I couldn't get it, I'm covered up in work until Monday. I mostly work weekends as a photographer, so I knew it would be gone by then!

My hat is off top both of you. Its my tag and I looked for a long time exhausting what I thought was all possibilities of finding a picture of this and couldn't find one. Yet you two managed to come up with one.
I'm impressed. After realizing there would be directions , I now wish I had picked my second choice tag( non- history)
Better yet, next time I think I'll just post a photo. You guys are so good at this , you don't need clues!

Why? Don't you want people to be able to locate the tag? I'm not trying to be a smart-aleck. (That comes later in this post and is aimed at our low-country friends. ) I truly am trying to understand.

For me, getting this tag would be a trip of quite a few hours. I want to know that I'm on the right track before I head out on a trip like that. Otherwise, I'll pick another destination for my ride. Getting bruced is one thing, but being flat out wrong because I couldn't verify the location with online searches -- that would be aggravating!

Again, why? I've said it before: Stumping people is easy. There's no real challenge in that. Clever, creative clues that require a little thought to figure out about interesting locations are what, I think, make this game worth participating in.

Thanks for the compliments, but I do need the clues! I wouldn't have found this without the clues! Frankly, I wouldn't have bothered to even look without them.

I don't have time to go ride over and get this one, unfortunately. I still need to get some of the debris cleaned up from Friday's storm. I was gone all weekend and have had a busy week. (Of course, I may decide to let that stuff stay where it is and go riding. )

Be extremely careful if you do that! Basd on what I've seen in this thread, I don't think a whole lot of motorcycle riding goes on down there, so the cagers may not be used to seeing motorcycles on the roads.

Hey, hey now. After I got home from work, I put my new turn signals on and set about on my way, but not getting on the road 'til 5:30 with almost two hours each way to ride, plus passing a free concert in Summerville's town square, gives me no real reason to whine about me wimping out , but I started to try to get it. Fox told me he's on his way to nab it today though, so hopefully he can or we'll just have to come invade another day.

TAG. Can anyone play this game? Now that there was a tag within range of my rig's speed capability to avoid getting bruced, I finally got a chance to play. I will try and have a new tag this afternoon for the weekend rides to commence....

This is what I found about the tag: Some history:

"Natalie Delage Sumter instructed her children to build a chapel (above) on her Stateburg plantation following her death in 1842. She is buried under the chapel, which today is in General Sumter Memorial State Park in Sumter County, South Carolina. Nearby is the grave of Revolutionary War Gen. Thomas "Gamecock" Sumter.

They are fun. Riding a rig is a very different experience, but it's a blast. In fact, I think I'll go ride mine right now.
