Ha! Got it! (I actually have a ride report I did a couple of years ago including that location.) Now all I have to do is ride 105 miles, take the photo, ride 105 miles back, and post it before anyone else...

You may have to turn in your Google Jockey Merit Badge if you don't find it.

Why aren't you out ridin', Kevin? Are you at work? I'm supposed to be workin' on a paper for my online class.

Keep Googlin', dog,
Chris

Actually we believe that Finn (the little guy you see above) is an English Shepherd and not a border collie. We have done some research and talked to some breeders and they all seem to be of a concensus that he isn't a border collie. I was pretty surprised but after reading about the characteristics and temperment of the English Shepherd, it is like they were describing Finn to a tee.

This is BO. He came from the pound a couple of years ago. Except for the color he looks a lot like the other 2 dogs. We are are not really sure what he is.

Here I am with the other 2 dogs in our house.

We also have a cat that is about to have kittens.

Anybody want a Kitten?

Another clue for those who requested it...

If you look carefully, you'll find that "DUMPY" looked a lot like this...... SC natives should know this breed.

Here's another college mascot-related tag:

Gravesite of a a famous South Carolinian, he's associated with two animals. One is a large ape.

Found It

My wife and I found this one pretty quick, but Google Maps says that it is almost a 400 mile round trip. Not something I am willing to do tonight.

Okay, so this is interesting. I have this thread set to give me an instant Email notification, sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't (I think the ADV Forum server has a lot to do with why I get 'em and why I don't get 'em, but that is another story). I have a Blackberry and so when I do get the instant notification, I can read it almost as soon as it is posted, COOL.

HOWEVER, I have never really looked at the photos of them before, just what the comments are. In this case I opened up the link and guess what, it gave the title of the grave (who it is). This is the main reason as to why I did not post a photo, I was concerned that it might give too much info and take away some of the fun for others.

I know a lot of folks post a photo using Google Earth cameras, and early on with the SC Tag O Rama, the street address was accidently included. So please, bear in mind that when you give info, sometimes too much info is passed on.
