My mother passed away this week....... her father served in WWII and her grandfather was in the Hungarian Police. I found this with many very personal items from her parents that she kept in a special box.

I am guessing its a coat button anyone ever seen this before????

That is awesome. I don't suppose you have any pics of a patch with a sword in an arrow pointing up painted on anything? I'm the proud team leader of the guys that started that whole tagging disaster...hahaha.

Nod from the 50th IBCT from NJ.

Ryan is depicted in this memorial, painted on one of the duck and covers in Camp McGregor (back in '08 when the Brigade was prepping to deploy again):

Godspeed all.

Sadly, the 1705 and all seven of her crew parished this past fall off of the coast of CA. I had four great friends on board. They're greatly missed.

Ranger School graduation. Full class picture is online. I am directly under the Guidon. Turned 30 during the course. Around 50% of the class graduated: some others recycled later, and we picked up recycles. 7 of 8 of the guys from my Cav AOBC graduated: the 8th got hit by a car in a bizarre accident on a dirt road at Fort Benning.

Weight on day 1: 230: I bulked up from around 220.
Weight after last patrol, 52 days later: 193. We all looked like POW's.
