No comment yet on the stock product, but FWIW you might consider having your web page designer modify the home page to have your company name come first in the text (can be hidden) so that the company name comes up automatically in the Name field when bookmarking the page instead of the generic "Home Page".

The Gov wants YOU

OK, boys and girls. Here's another chance for you to become part of team Furlough. My agency, the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), is looking for what we refer to as an Industrial Specialist in the SLC area.

Here are some excerpts from the official anouncement:

· Serves as an Industrial Specialist on a multi-functional Operations Team performing production surveillance over one or more government suppliers involving complex products, services or contract requirements to monitor adequate and timely performance on procurements with DoD and other agencies.

· Utilizes supplier risk management tools to determine the appropriate priority, degree and intensity of surveillance required for individual assigned supplier facilities. Develops and implements risk handling plans documenting the risk handling methods used to mitigate risk associated with suppliers' major systems and key processes.

· Performs risk based contract schedule surveillance and delivery management on assigned contracts to improve on-time delivery rates by identifying root causes to late deliveries and working to eliminate or minimize the effects of the root causes.

· Prepares a written analysis, including recommendations to the PCO/ACO, for use in negotiations with the supplier.

· Incumbent receives assignments from the Operations Team Leader in terms of supplier(s) or program(s) to be monitored.

· Independently plans the approach, sequence and extent of effort needed to monitor assigned contracts.

Basically, what the above is saying is this: If you have experience in scheduling work; tracking work progress; assessing if a contractor can do a certain job; and you have the ability to get out of bed in the morning and get dressed, than this may be the job for you.

For details on the job, please go to USAjobs.gov and type in job opening number SWH813P515047863516 into the "What" search field. I have zero knowlege about this position but will be glad to discuss general questions regarding working for the agency.

IMPORTANT: The Govermnent is accepting applications only until the 5th of April for this position. So hurry up and don't procrastinate if you are interested.

Now back to your regular scheduled program.

Looking for a carpenter

Looks like my work-load is ramping up for the spring and I could use a (minimally) moderately skilled carpenter to help out. Work is mostly in the Boulder, Louisville, Longmont area. Ideally, looking for a hard worker who can do framing/finish carpentry, demolition and concrete 101. This is not a full-time position, though it looks like I could keep another guy busy for a while. Liability insurance a big plus.

PM me through the site with your experience and what you'd need to get $$.

Thanks.

Plumber/HVAC tech(s) needed

My company can use at least 1, and maybe 2 or more, plumber/HVAC technicians. We are a service/repair company, so no new construction. We do plumbing, drain cleaning, heating, cooling, duct cleaning, excavation, and some very light electrical.

A mech 4 license with Pikes Peak Regional Building is helpful, but not mandatory. We will train anyone with a good work ethic and a little bit of mechanical aptitude. We are a 52 year old company with deep roots in the neighborhood. Our office is in Fountain just outside of Fort Carson near I-25, and we service all of El Paso and Teller counties.

PM me here or through our website at www.jazyfrei.com

You can find us on FaceBook as well.

Sims Custom Homes

www.SimsCustomHomes.com

I build custom homes as well as smaller homes, garages, and remodels.

I serve Chaffee County but travel to adjoining counties when necessary.

My website has my contact information.

Email is best as I build in very remote locations and cell service is non existent in most locations.

There's obviously something in the water. My front office manager just gave her notice. So....

Dynamic, modern dental practice is looking for a new, energetic office manager. Must have friendly demeanor and a good attitude, be good with people and be willing to go the extra mile.

Duties will include interacting with patients, answering the phone, scheduling patients, sending in insurance pre-determinations and claims, resolving insurance problems, sending out patient statements, discussing and setting financial plans with patients, resolving patient accounts/payables.

Must have at least 5 years previous dental office front desk experience, must have experience with EagleSoft.

Mo-door.com

I thought I would pass on some info about a local Denver company called Mo-Door. They make small garage door openers for your motorcycle and bicycle. We all know what a pain it is to either carry a bulky opener, or have to get off of the bike. A lot of sportbike and cruisers have started using them and have given very positive feedback and the company has already started sponsoring local MRA racers. Check them out if you're interested.

**This is not my business, it's one of my friends who is not on ADV, I feel it's a good local product that could benefit some of the people here. I am not endorsed or receive any sort of compensation for your orders. Although, if he gets a ton of orders, I am going to make him buy me a beer. That's only fair **
