Radon Gas Measurement & Mitigation

Radon Rover LLC
303-258-0282 (calling is best)
Serving Boulder CO (Free in-home estimates) and surrounding counties directly (& perhaps further..), consulting world-wide.

Radon gas (which is radioactive) comes from the soil and into structures with the possibility of LUNG CANCER as the prize. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer after smoking (kills 20-40k each year in the USA). If you are selling a home in CO the home inspector will probably do a Radon test, and levels over the EPA Action level of 4.0pCi/L could nix the sale. Luckily, ANY structure can be fixed.

I (Mark Palmer) am a NEHA Certified Measurement and Mitigation Engineer with over 100 credit-hours of relevant education and seven years of experience. I carry General Liability & Professional E/O insurance and offer a Lifetime Warranty on every Active system I install (sometimes you only need a passive vent). I also consult to help you install a proper system yourself, if that's your inclination.
I work on residential and commercial structures, including schools. If you are building a new structure, call me before you pour the floor, it's cheaper!

ADVer Discounts:
10% discount on personal residence Mitigations that I install. 5% discount on commercial property or for ADV Realtors. Tests for $50 ($85 to non-ADV). Consults for free! (that's a $100 savings..)

Kids have a much greater risk from ANY carcinogen than adults. Ages 0-2 have TEN TIMES the risk, ages 3-15 have 3x the risk. Keep your kids safe!!

Test your homes, and demand that employers and schools also test. Check out the EPA's various publications (available as .pdf) for more info, or give me a call. Education is part of my charter, even if you don't hire me.

help wanted....

if anyone is interested in a Field Service position covering CO, NM, WY, NE, and maybe a tad more consider the following.

my company has an opening for a Field Service position.

requires heavy IT experience working with some video. the catch is that it is medical related so a little medical backround would be a big plus but not a prerequisite/necessary.

very solid company with a vehicle provided and all the perks. customers are mostly hospitals, colleges.

this is a serious offer and I must treat it as such.

in other words don't link this to the basement.

I really try to keep my employer anonymous as the company is pretty low key but very solid and a VERY good company to work for.

pm me if interested. the position became open this past week.

I am joining the masses of the unemployed and am looking for work.

I have been in sales for the past 10 years with the first 8 working as a liquor, beer and wine specialist. The last two have been in advertising. I have a culinary, hotel and restaurant managment degree but would rather not go back to that life if possible.

I am looking for a "career oriented" sales position with room for growth but, will pick up anything to get by in the meantime to keep something coming in. -My wife and I have both been laid off and we are expecting in 6 weeks.
I am handy, have gutted two houses and done all the work myself. I wouldn't be opposed to a career change either if you have an irresistable opportunity.

Here's a new one

Here's a unique offer to Rockies inmates:

I know a few of you have had challenges getting things shipped from the EU to the US. If you're patient and willing to pay the shipping costs, I'm willing to receive, and resend legitimate bike part shipments. So now if you find that perfect part but the seller won't ship it PM me. Of course size and customs must be considered. This is not a business, just a offer to a bunch of great folks who've helped me. I'm not looking to make any money, just cover the shipping costs.

Now, don't hit me up to ship anything questionable, anything that needs a forklift to move, no cars, complete bikes, etc. Be reasonable. PM me with details before committing to anything!

If you don't know what I'm talking about then you don't need this service.

I'm a recent graduate of CSU's Construction Management program and am seeking employment. I have interned on a $185M hotel/casino project where I was responsible for things like analyzing and drafting hundreds of RFI's, performing field measurements for producing shop drawings, communications with subcontractors and the design team, tracking subcontractor submittals, and performing quantity takeoffs. I am well versed in Microsoft Office, AutoCad and Architectural Desktop, Primavera SureTrak/P3, and On Screen Takeoff 3. I also have several years of experience as a carpenter in large and small residential remodels, and light commercial. framing, both wood and metal, timber framing, sheetrock, trim, etc. I work with metal as well, and am a good MIG/ARC/TIG welder. I can operate most pieces of equipment, notably excavators, loaders, bobcats, reach forklifts, and others.

I am seeking an entry level position in project management or field management in commercial construction, or carpentry. I am a self starter but work well in a team environment as well. I am open to relocation.
