Law Student

No services to offer or any needed at the moment, but always interested in networking and learning more about the CO legal market.

I am a JD candidate at Harvard Law School and expect to graduate May 2010. I interned for Judge Gorsuch on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver (Byron White Courthouse) last summer and bummed a room from Casey (aka chacha) while in town:) This summer I will be a summer associate at a law firm in DC. I'm primarily interested in litigation and legal academia.

Senior Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager reporting in!

I am actively seeking employment in the IT sector managing software development or implementation projects.

I have 10 years experience as a TPM, hold my PMP cert and Six Sigma Yellow Belt as well as a CIPP cert in data security (my last position was implementing network / data security solutions in enterprise network environments). I also have a strong background in web technologies and online enterprise application development, web analytics and SEO.

Resume and all that jazz readily available but I'm really looking for a small to medium sized company (think 50 - 500 employees) where I have a customer facing PM role.

Contract, part-time, contract to hire, FTE all considered.

Thanks!!!

Solar Power

The cost of solar electricity has never been this low! If you or someone you know are even slightly interested, please call Denver Alternative Energy (www.denveralternativeenergy.com) and mention you saw this on ADV. I will do a free site evaluation and system design and a free energy audit with a signed contract.

Thanks,
ric

I got a call from a friendly rival at a competing golf car dealership this morning, asking me if a certain ADV'er was still interested in working with him. He may have more than one opening avaialble. So.......iff'n you are available and won't embarass me with poor performance in return for my referral, then PM me with your name and number and we'll talk.

Best to ya.

Laugh IT System Admin Job in Crested Butte, Colorado

Inmates--if anyone out there is looking for an IT job with the Colorado high country right out the door (motorcycling, mountain biking and big adventures in the summer [not to mention Hayduke living just over Cottonwood pass]; snowmobiling, skiing and a whole different set of adventures in the winter), check out Crested Butte Mountain Resorts posting for a system administrator. Im not the hiring person, but I work in the Crested Butte Mountain Resort IT department and sit in on the hiring process. The pay and the nightlife probably won't blow your socks off, but if you're in to quality of life and no stop lights on your commute to work, check it out.

Motorcycling coworkers tend to be more fun to work with than the regular tech dweebs , so I thought Id give you all the heads-up. While I cant spend a bunch of time on responses (and Im more interested in seeing what folks honestly bring to the table rather than prepping them to tell us what we want to hear ), you can email me at rpennie at cbmr dot com if you have questions that the job postings dont answer.

Thanks and Good Luck!

Need help bringing a product to market

A few of you might remember that I have a side venture with the StrawFast(R) product. It's that 'better mousetrap' to help you from losing those little red straws that come with so many aerosol-based lubricants (WD40, Gunk, brake/carb cleaners...).

I am wanting to chat with folks who have a recent background (or some type of corporate 'black book' ) in bringing a product like this to market. I'm open to experiences from the manufacturer, distributor, wholesale or retail side of the house.

Thanks for reading this & be safe!

John

Another IT professional checking in, laid off last Friday.

My most recent position was working in a pre-sales position for a IBM reseller. I also have experience in supporting hospital IT applications, laboratory focus.

I'm open to anything at this point.

Tile, Granite, Stonework

If any of you, or someone you know, need tile job done right, i'm always available.
Some say i'm a fine craftsman, i just say i enjoy my work.
To do things right, i only do one job at a time.
Studied in Europe restoring 16 century buildings etc..., perfected my trade here, in CO. I have been running my own company for over 15 years. From tiny remodels to multi-million$$ mansions.
I do a fine job remodeling baths and kitchens too, specialize in natural stone and granite retrofits.
Not to mention a flagstone-laying talent...
Best way to see what i've done in the past, check out some of the work on my site: pkTile

Thank You!
