If you pass through Cleveland, Ga on your way to Helen and want a manly, mighty, tasty, remarkable burger, then stop in at Yonah Burger, you can thank me later.

Oh, there are some great roads to be explored as well...........not a food thread.
Enjoy the riding Schwing and be well.

Meet, eat and greet in Central Georgia.

Several of us in the Georgia tag section have been talking about doing this for a couple of weeks now. I've decided to just throw it out there and see what happens.

The what: Get together to eat some of Georgia's finest BBQ.

The where: Georgia Bob's, off of Hwy 96, Warner Robins, GA.

The when: 10 August 2013

The time: 1:00 PM plus or minus

Warner Robins is about smack dab in the middle of the state so it will it shouldn't be more than a three hour ride from any direction which makes it an ideal location to have such an event!

If you're interested please respond in this thread. Thanks! Hope some of the gang up yonder way can make it down.

Love that place. Been going to Yonah for years, since the parents were
dragging us up there. We actually sat in town and ate at the biker
place at the far end of town. Han's old place...the Haus Struedle Noodle
or something like that. A chance to people watch. Then we strolled up to
Brasstown and got to enjoy a nice drenching afternoon shower. OK, it
was a deluge, but I played it off like all bikers are used to this. See?
Those two don't even have raingear. We're lucky because we have ours
on. She didn't buy it. Apparently I'm in debt for a pair of Nike's.

Tag Found

Alrighty. Been a busy weekend. Woooohooooooo.

Tag found at the intersection of Loudermillk Dr., Marr Rd and
Marble Mill Rd. The ladies are accompanied by the lovely and
talented Sandra from YeeHaw Texas who graciously agreed
to assist in this photo op in exchange for a ride back to the
airport on Sunday morning...kidding. I had to pay her 5 bucks
which I got back in exchange for a ride down Brasstown Bald.

And the dork I am, I totally forgot the GPS coords..,
so found these on some website...

N33.58.37 x W84.33.26

Area expansion?

Let me throw something out to the group. I'd like to expand the area to include Henry County and Rockdale County. We go south to Fayette and Clayton, north to Forsyth, west to Douglas, but not east (or southeast) at all. Lots of interesting areas included and it's technically as much metro as the other counties.

What say you?

Yes! That would be awesome.....I've often placed tags in Rockdale and gone back to retreive. It's a lot closer that Forsyth Co. to Atlanta. Dunno if there is anyway to get ahold of Packet. He's kind of a pain to track down. What do the rest of you guys think?

I don't have a problem with it, as long as there are good clues it gives us more area to discover. I have been meaning to explore further south too.

Expanding the boundaries a bit could be a good thing, what HondaBob said is good by us.

New Tag

This location is Midway between here and there off Memorial Dr.
Stashed away in a park lies this giant footprint that is actually
on Google Maps if you zoom in far enough. If you need WiFi to
assist, Walmart is across the street.

Ya gotta go Leeward to get to this field and these trees.

The kids are hiding behind the pine tree on the right.

Now you see um...

Now you don't....
