I may actually get off of my ass tomorrow, and make something happen. Lucky for you all, I have a messed up wrist, that I have to get back up for a mountain bike race in Sept., on the Isle of Man. Will see how I feel in the morning.

Are there any riders left in the Metro area who are still involved in C.O.M.M.I.E.S?

Just a n00b, but I'd like to try and keep it going. Life does get in the way sometimes, though.

I have been busy, that and I am putting my 690 up for sale. That is how busy I have been, no time to ride. Maybe I will try and get off of my ass tomorrow, and make something happen. Only time will tell.

Sad news!!!

It seems that Jenna was the only one that was aware of the fact that I had placed my 690 up for sale. It was a difficult decision for me to make, but I think that it was in the best interest of the bike. I just didn't have the time to give it the attention that it deserved.

That being said, I will continue to try and play. I will just be using my bicycle instead of the 690. The bright side of this, is that the tags will be in closer proximity due to the fact that I will be on a bicycle.

I do believe that that falls into the guide lines.

I will be looking for another bike in about 6 months. I am going to look into getting a 350/450 for my next bike. I am also going to order a light kit for my 200 XC-W, and attempt to get to where it will be street legal.

Ritebike- Dean

P.S. Is anyone planning on a meet up any time soon, I think it is about time.

Dean,

I saw your ad too while trolling for 690 parts--sorry to hear of it. The stuff that's been keeping me from riding and playing (690 was dead, selling and buying a house) is nearly behind me and I'll be back in the game.

Definitely up for a meet. After trying grindhouse burgers in Athens last night I vote for the one on Piedmont. Damn that was good.

Damn Dean....I know that was hard but I can relate. If it isn't being used, I feel bad too. I saw you looking at Flux's 950!!! That would be the ultimate tour bike, and man they're great off road. We do need to get together

I would love to get the 950, but I have other matters that are pressing. I am leaving to do a mountain bike race on the Isle of Man on the 4th of Sept. I am getting a new bike for the race, and travel expenses. I will get another bike in the near future.
