Finn, thanks for the heads up on the shower. I will look into one of these ... great find!!

BTW, is that a Glock that Nancy is shooting? Joe, you hit the jackpot - cute girl who loves to ride motorcycles, camping and shooting a weapon - what more could you want?!!

As the famous poet said," We've figured out everything in this world, except how to live!" well I'm figuring out how to do that as well...and when I speak of my adventures to my family and friends they look at me with such fascination ... They think I'm the luckiest girl in the world to just pack up and go see things that well most people just don't...

Well off to work so we can plan for more...... right?

ps... I think you should invite us to Montenegro!
Nancy,

Congrats on your latest adventure!! I too find it difficult to describe to others the feeling of just taking off and going somewhere on a motorcycle. It is said, "there is no need for a shrink if you ride a bike" - I believe this to be true.

Also, the portable shower is an EXCELLENT find and will have to order one of these ... as I am not into too many days of grime.

Best wishes,

-Bob-

Food prepared outside like this, cooked on wood coals with all the stars, sounds, and smells inevitably taste far better than anything cooked in a kitchen IMO.
Hell, I can hardly eat steak anymore except when camping cause I'm just disappointed with anything else.

Out camping and riding with the girl and you're thinking about me...there's something terribly wrong with that!

As alway amazing pics and entertaining writing! Keep it coming

I think we should only have to work for 6 months a year and then ADV the rest. yeah I hear you Finn...stop worrying about work and pension plans...

it is great to you 2 enjoy the back country. One thing I love about riding is that I too have a great partner who shares the passion. As long as Cheryl is with me I don't think I will be soloing anywhere soon but having said that, taking a solo trip at some point sounds appealing too!

Realized I didn't really know what you look like and didn't find you at the show Sunday. I tend to look at the bike and scenery pics in these threads and gloss over the people because I'm really just imagining myself there instead of you.

I should have taken a better camera as they don't check at that venue, but I was busy pushing kids anyways.

The genius of Steve Jobs is he was able to deliver high-tech to the masses without allowing the technical details getting in the way.

Nancy, thank you and Finn for the wonderful tribute to Steve Jobs. His vision will be sorely missed.
