Monday afternoon?

It looks to be a nice day tomorrow and I was thinking about hitting the road for a couple hours. I was thinking head down to Worcester for Wings Over (any one dare Kelly Square on a bike?) or maybe something else all together like Portland or The Lake or just some back-roads touring. Any one want to tag along?

It wasn’t much but it was a very nice day to get out and ride. I had no place to go and all day to get there so I just puttered around some local back roads and it was a blast. I have been so tied up lately with the new baby and being sick that it was the ride almost recaptured that feeling that I used to get when I first started riding a few years ago. It was the smell of wood smoke and the black ribbons of the road under a golden canopy of brilliant leaves. Gold seems to be the color of the world this fall. Ironic considering how little gold most folks have these days, but just breath in the cool autumn air and enjoy the sunshine and colors of the day and enjoy some thing more precious than money could ever be.
