I remeber that board! Damn I wish I had kept some of my old stuff, I killed it all anyway. I think my favorite was the Natas Kaupas panther, first real board was Vision Gator. Man I had some good ones. Rodney Mullen freestyle board.

Skip, I'll give you a call soon. Let's go on a twisty ride on night after work or something. I have some great loops through bucks.

Ok, Back to the pb300, get your entries in ladies! Jack showed me this routes for this year and it's going to be a sweet ass ride! Nothing but fun so come on down.

With ya in spirit again!

Sister in law decided to get married way far away that weekend.

And my promises for clean up labor go unmet--Shenandoah 300 the week prior will have to do.

I will Jack, I've an unpaid debt of labor that I will remit next time I sure as hell hope.

It's a go!

Hey: Got verbal OK's today from the powers that be! So it's on!!! Not that I ever worried.

Anyway the Pine Barrens 300 is not like any other event in this area. It's an off-road tour of five State Parks and Widlife Management area's, that also passes thru 13 towns in the New Jersey Pinelands Reserve. An event like this dosen't happen often, and I can't predict if it will happen again.

I was talking to a few enduro organizers today, and they were amazed at some of the permits this event was granted. Don't miss this chance to ride your adventure bike on this "journey thru the pines". Out of the 300 miles I submitted for review, only one mile was rejected. Thats pretty damn good. If I don't say so myself.

So far we have about 50 entries, half full, but one of the requirements is preregistration. Get your entry in soon. The dinner on Saturady night is a great time with good food and will have some really intresting slide shows. Please support OCCR and signup for the package plan, which includes the Dinner, a fleece riding vest and both days routes for $150. Such a deal!

PM me with questions, but get your entry in and prep your bike for a real adventure.

One more thing, most of the riders entered so far this year have ridden the PB300/500 events in the past, meaning most of the riders come back year after year. Most have also signed up for the package plan. This is a great event, IMHO, don't miss it.

Regards
Jack, and The Ocean County Competition Riders, organizers of the ECEA "Enduro of the Year" 7 times.

I just met with Jack last night and went over the routes and they look really great.

Jack really puts a ton of work into this event each year and makes sure the routes are unique from year to year, so each time you visit your experience is different (as different as sand, trees, more sand and some mud can get). This year you'll be going through parts of the forest we never took you through before with plenty of great challenges and nice scenery (stop for a minute and check it out) along the way. Plus, Rocco's Secret Squirrel Hero Section to keep you on your toes, litteraly.

It's really going to be two full days of ridding and hanging out so be sure to start eating your wheaties from now.

Please keep those entries coming in, there's no restrictions on bike size now so all you 400/450 riders come and see what it's like to ride for 150 miles non stop for the day and navigate with your gps like you were in Baja! Can you say I love sand?

Hey: Yes, an email will go out appx Oct 7 or 8.

I got all the entries, so don't worry. I haven't got the email list together yet, I'll try for ths weekend. We woun't deposit the checks till after the event, so don't worry about the checks not clearing yet.

The woods are in great shape due to a rainy season and cool temps, we even have a mud section again. The bigger bikes may want ot avoid it, so we have a go around for those not wanting to get their machines really dirty.

This bike was brand new before the PB500 a few years ago. Here's Mark Al after the "Hard Part" of the event. While Chris G enjoys his sandwich, and Doc Gonzo looks on.

He loved it. Here's the "Before" shot.

Here's another of my favorite pic's from past events. I keep telling riders to go around the puddles, but some can't resist blasting down the middle. Which is a really bad idea. You can see the puddle this guy went thru to the right.

Get ready for Adventure.

Jack
