Hey: I met up with Al ( RacerXS ), for a "GS Test" last Sunday. The plan was to ride 'Rocky's Big Bike Enduro Section" to see if the GS could fit through the firecuts and short "Stick Farm" .

The Al and his GS went through just fine. We just need to clear a few "pine cones" off the trail, don't want anybody to hit one.

Just before we went into the Cranberry Bog's, a guy rode up to us on his V-Strom 650, Cosmin, had just ridden down from Queens and was looking for Adventure. He had street tires, but did fine in the bogs. We rode some of the Day One route, gravel roads in Lebanon and hit another Bog.

Here's a few pic's from the day.

Al and myself were runing helmet cams, so look for some clips and more comments soon.

Can't wait till the 1000 shows up. Jeff?

Jack

Pics look great Jack, really had a blast Sunday!

From what I saw, there was nothing a guy with some experience & a decent set of tires could not handle easily.

Cosmin on his V-Strom really did a great job on street tires that basically were ready for the dumpster, I was following him taking video just waiting for the yard sale......but he held it together.

It must have taken a lot of time & effort to come up with such a great route for these big bikes, I applaud your efforts.

I am definitely in for both days!

Are there normally any professional photographers or coverage at these events?
I help run a site called www.rallyaddict.com that covers USA rally events and a NJ Mountain Bike racing site called www.TeamNoTights.com
We may be able to cover the even if we could get some help and info (since this would be our 1st year covering the race)

Our pics are free to view online and if you want to buy some of you, the prices are REALLLLY affordable compared to what's out there.

your prices are good. lets get it set up. nice to have a real photographer cover an event and gives everyone a chance to get a good picture at a fair price.

Ryan: FYI, the PB300 is not a race, just a ride. If you want to come and shoot and sell pic's, OK. I'll give you a few photo spots.

Jack, Look's like you all picked a great day to go riding. And from the looks of it Everyone seems to have had a great time. I'll be heading down there next weekend. Been talking with a few others and we may be able to have a complete VStrom Contingency participate in this years event. I'm really looking forward to riding some of these sections I keep hearing about. Especially the tight woods sections with sand thrown in.. Yee Haa.

Hey: COSMIN & LOOKGOODINBLACK PM me and Lets go Riding Next Weekend....

So far I've gotten alot interest from people riding 650's with some 1000's thrown in. As you can see from the posts, Some of us plan to hook up with other like minded Strom owners to pre-ride and do some training before the event. I'm really looking forward to riding some of these sections I keep hearing about. Especially the tight woods sections with sand thrown in.. Yee Haa.

Hey: COSMIN & LOOKGOODINBLACK Lets go Riding Next Weekend....
Game for next Saturday! I will have to make it half a day though because it looks like I'll be on my way to MA in the evening.

BTW anybody is planning a ride in PB this Saturday?
