Mr. Egg appears again...
Though I'm no longer in possession (George walks into the Psychiatrist's office with Mr. Egg on his shoulder, Doc looks up and asks, "May I help you?"
Mr. Egg replies, "Yeah, can you get this guy off my ass?" ) I do have many opportunites to take his pic as his current support brings him into view on occasion. I've just posted three more albums at http://picasaweb.google.com/cattmando, feel free to peruse at yur leisure. He seems to have an affinity to b'kfast tables and mother hens. ![]() Rest assured he will not stay in Belize (in fact, he's not there now!) but only the present support can decide where he may reside. As to leaving him down here, that was never "our" intention and the opinionsposted here have had little infuence. "We" are following the rules, and will continue to do so. In the meantime, read the narrative on my albums and decide whether this is a real adventure or just another motorcyle ride.

Coddled Eggs
Just to reassure all concerned, the egg and its backpack are all safely packaged and will hopefully encounter smoother roads on its way west and north. Rocky roads, goat pastures, black howlers serenading at dusk and dawn, and mucho attempts to secure boat passage up river not withstanding, the ride continues with a front row seat. It is just amazing that I was in the area and available to retrieve le Egg to expand its horizons-think of the stories it can tell the little egglets to come.
I realize the responsibility at hand and am fully committed.... Yr Obdnt Srvnt- Sunny(side up)TN |

Go Guys Go !!
Love the reports & pix.
I think everybody who comes in contact with this tag in the future will have a bit of awe about how far it's come before being in their care.

Not just "ST-Owners"
STBNE, ya know all of us are subscribers in good STanding at this forum too. It ain't what ya ride but that ya ride that counts. I joined here to hear of others' exploits and hopefully expand my own horizons. Also, the XT-350 thread has been invaluable in my ongoing efforts to turn a small lead-sled into a reliablel, small LD dual sport.
Oh, yeah, this is where Raven hangs now and I need to stay in contact. Her "Desert Daze" ride first of March was a real treat. In fact, I'm wearing the shirt as I type this. Mr. Egg hasn't made an appearance today but I'm pretty sure SunnyTN and he are making plans for tomorrow in Flores, Guatemala and for the continuing trip no matter where it may lead. Y'all enjoy, and take a break from the 'puter to... GO RIDE!!!!!!

I have it on good authority that Mr. Egg has been smuggled back into "North America" and is hold up in Palenque, MX. Hopefully time will be shaved out to allow Mr. Egg to visit the Mayan ruins and to get some of the great picture up so everyone can enjoy his travels. If indian lore has it that distance is power, then Mr. Egg is golden. Desire him.....ride to him.... |

any projected date of arrival of Egg-o back into the USA?
just asking as this drama is killing me.....nice of you guys to hijack the li'l pecker, and keep us all in suspense, while your epic adventure unfolds, but hey man, you're draggin' it all out. A nice retrospective article would be read by all, you didn't have to drag the little cock, (or hen, we really don't know....but it was still an abduction across many lines of country, and states....a very serious crime, should you co-habitate with the li'l bird...)along to get that up on the site....at least do a daily photo journal of it's travels...sheesh.

Mr. Egg has blessed us with many wise teachings over the past few weeks, not the first of which was, its not where you have been, but where you are headed and in whose company, that counts. The first thing Mr. Egg requested when I fell under his powers was to lighten his baggage, which I will do if I can only find the dadgum bag in my laundry. Next he asked that we accompany him to many new and exciting destinations and try not to fall over too much in the process. Willing servants we headed out of Placencia, BZ to San Ignacio and Clarissa Falls, Flores, Guat., and on into MX, with stops to date in Palenque, San Cristobal, Tuxtla Gte, Zipolite, Escondida, Oaxaca and points north TBD. Mr. Egg is considering the many options available to him for his next resting place, and after the exhaustive and trying conditions of this experience, he may need a quiet and secluded resting place (p.s.-our next stop is Canyon de Galena.) Pics to follow.
