Thumb Thanks to Rotopax for a very nice product.

I just got the 1 gallon in and mounted on my 990 for a month long trip in the Rockies. Very nice fit and finish.

Does Rotopax sell the rubber gaskets that fit onto the end of the nozzle that is inside the gas cap? I looked on the website, but didn't see any.

I've got the one gallon Rotopax, just rode 1200 miles on rough roads and hot weather, no seepage. This is a great product.

Did you ever try the R1200GS mounting with Micatechs?

I'm looking at one in hand and don't see a good alternative so far.

Just curious.

Green

Just select "green" from the drop down menu if you are ordering a can. If you want the can and mount combo add "green" to the comment area when ordering. Thats what Jason told me and I got 3 green 1 gals. about a week ago.

Any thoughts on making a smaller first aid kit in the 1 gallon size? I'd love to see a hinged 1 gallon empty pack offered (sort of a "brew your own" safety kit -- could be black or green or something).

How well does the plastic take/hold paint?

Thanks! I can't wait to see the locking feature it is what has kept me from ordering so far.

1000 Miles with mine mounted upside down. Not a drop leaked. (Don't ask why it had to be mounted upside down. It was a prototyping flaw in my rack. )

Use the Rotopax mounts, not the Kolpin. The Kolpins are too loose.

Just spoke to him and he said 2-3 weeks, but the price on the new cans will go up.

Just put on 5000 miles up to Labrador and back and the 1 gallon Rotopax didn't leak a single drop.
