That's strange, maybe they are backed up or something. There web site is still up and functional, so I am pretty sure they are still in business. If a 1.75 water container is not on their website, it is most likely not available. Of course if there is enough demand, I am sure they will make one.

I did a quick rinse with alcohol (not the drinking kind) with mine, then let it dry before I put gas in it.

Beware of this business, a home business (according to Google Streets, using the address from the RotopaX website) in Bountiful, Utah. I've been struggling with them, dba Great Outdoor Products LLC -- for three days.

They didn't confirm my order on their website, but sure did take my PayPal payment darned quick!

And as I've tried for three days now to cancel the order and get a refund, the person who answered (apparently on some distant speaker phone) made continual excuses day after day about "our server being down."

I sent messages to every email address they provide ("Jason" among them); no response.

I left phone messages (per their recorded instructions); again, no response.

I was told one morning to call in the afternoon. In the afternoon, I was told to call the next morning; in the morning I was told to call back in the afternoon, then to call the next day ... I did, and now no answer! And this has been going on for three days.

Then this afternoon I get an email ... stating that my order has shipped! This after multiple contacts over three days telling them to cancel.

Maybe someone's had good experience with this business, but I'm not among them. I ended up buying what I needed for my KLR from CBI Offroad in Idaho Falls ... for less than Great Outdoor Products, even tho I used their alleged ADV discount!

So now it looks like there will be a 1.75 gal. with locking mount in the flea market soon ... NIB. My loss.

After spending days telling Great Outdoor Products LLC, dba RotopaX, to cancel an order that they never acknowledged receiving, the order just arrived.

This is the worst online retailer I've ever dealt with. Horrible service. Stay away.

I tried to order some RotoPax over the weekend, and the inmate discount code didn't work and there was no free shipping.
I guess they decided to stop giving the discount and free shipping?
I tried to find out, but they never responded to an e-mail I sent over the weekend.
That was 6 days ago.
Anyone know what the deal with the inmate discount is?
Is it non-existant?

I checked today and the website did accept the "ADVRIDER" coupon and it showed there would be a 10% discount. It did not show anything about free shipping though.

I did not actually submit my order because the last few posts here seem a bit worrisome.

It would be nice if the OP would post something to address the concerns. I would like to order a few Rotopax items.
