Sat. Feb 14th in Portland..Holy Crap dave Alvin!!

I just found out that Dave Alvin is doing a show at Mississippi Studios in Portland on Sat. feb 14th.

Trust me when I say..If you love music you should do whatever you can to go to this gig. i have no affiliation FYI but I'm a huge Dave Alvin fan and to get to see him in such a cool venue..yowzers.

And here I thought I was the only one that knew about him. Something is going on in N PDX that day involving beer and such, but maybe we can hit this too. Thanks for the tip!

I did a show for John Doe a few years back and he invited me up to McMinnville to see the Knitters..which is X plus dave Alvin. I got to Meet dave..and man he is a serious motherfucker..he's the real deal. Super cool guy we tried a couple years ago to put a show together for him here but he ended up recording...I wouldn't miss that show if I was at al closer.

Mississippi Studios is like a closet too. Might have to check this out. I saw a prop comedy show there once and some slow, breathy, folky band.

They used to have a little breakfast joint in the same building,

awesome salmon benedict for a really reasonable price.

I was bummed when that shut down.

I'd go to a show there.
