Swap BMW XChallenge Shock - to a BMW XCountry Shock
I have searched the BMW parts fiche and the threads on this sight and I can not find any conclusive info on this. Is it possible? Has anyone ever done it? Are they the same length? Would I be giving up travel? I am considering this as I like the dependability of a coil shock over the BMW air system. Thanks for any help and info Teeth to the wind, Sno Dawg |

It's too short (remember the Xco sits lower). But there are solutions available from Wilber, Hyperpro and I think many others.

Thanks Max!
that is exactly what I wanted to needed - I found an XCountry shock for sale and thought it might be a quick solution - Ohlins and Wilburs are a bit steep for me right now so I better start saving $$$. Sno Dawg |

sits lower
How much would the bike be raised if I put a xCh shock on and Xco raise the bike?
