Hit a patch of gravel/dirt mid corner out in the back roads with some buddies. They told me I almost rode it out in the field but then hit a field entrance bump and went flying. I don't remember any of it. I've got a pretty bad concussion and some strained muscles in my neck. No rash or broken bones. Just got the check from insurance and I came out ahead $$ wise but I'd rather have the bike

Looking at Duke 690s and Street Triples. Going for about the same power / weight but something more compact and lighter overall.

I'm glad to hear you're mostly OK. Take care of that noggin though,.. concussions have some pretty long reaching effects.

Both are excellent choices. I'd give Street Triple the nod -- definitely for the "R".

I spent some time on a Speed Triple recently and was very impressed. Great engine and comfortable position. I missed the wind and weather protection though.

Good grief! How did you get it in there? With all that stuff, I'd easily have had to fall and cushion the bike,....

Purty bike. My favorite variant.

Yeah, the white gen3 is one of the best looking VFRs ever made. Congrats, that one looks in stellar shape!
