At $1700, they aren't an option for mine.

Even so, the bags for the 6th Gen really transform a VFR800 -- into a PC800.

I've owned two VFR's, a 1992 750 and a 2001 800. :-)

Buy mine before it breaks my heart, and we'll both get a good deal!

Interesting... In what ways?

Great photo, BTW.

Packaging, LM, packaging! You can say anything as long as you wrap it up in the right bow. Such as "Form follows function -- whatever that is."

Other than that, I'm curious. I put many miles on a vtec VFR, and spent a week on a Wee Strom. I liked it, just wished it had more juice like the 1000 does.

Personally, I don't think they are all that bad-looking, just heavily biased toward appearing businesslike. I almost pulled the trigger on buying a DL1000 before I bought my VTEC. What steered me away from it was the seller's belated confession that the bike had been wrecked by the previous owner but not to worry, the seller's husband had done a "real, real good job of fixing it." Yes, I immediately felt better about the bike's history when she told me that. Loads off my mind. That and the price tag which reflected some value added by her hubby apart from the miracle he wrought with replacement parts. Just as well; I found both 'Stroms to be a bit tall for me to flatfoot them. No regrets about getting the VFR instead.

Cool2

Had a 98 VFR for years. Awesome bike. Got a 08 GS recently mainly for 2-up touring with the wife. Hope it's half as reliable as the VFR.

Both are very capable but if I'm going out for the weekend without the passenger seat filled the VFR generally gets the nod.

Newbie, but 300 miles on VFR today

Hiya Gents

Just joined as a mate showed me the site today, looking at Elephant Rally ( maybe ) anyway, for my 2p worth, 600 miles to Perth and back since yesterday, it was sunny all the way, well apart from the 6c and fog by shap on the M6, so in my book, the bikr is MAGIC- well it stopped it raining on me north of the border for 24 hours!
