Indian Peaks range conditions
Does anyone have any current info about what the dirt road conditions are up in the Indian Peaks range? I was thinking of exlporing some of the dirt roads west of Rt. 72 around Ward, Nederland, Rollinsville this weekend, but heard they may have had some fresh snow up there is week, and might get more this weekend. I'm a noob and a pansy about mud and snow riding at this point (already fell once).
Thanks, Dave |

Many of the trails in that area have drifts until mid summer, some are quite mud-boggy in the early summer as well.
Kingston peak, for example, is often drifted in folr a while. Sometimes you can get a bike through with some pushing/shoving, not something you want to try alone though.
