LOL...Man I hope not. But yea snow is melting and Im about ready to hit the woods on the dirty bike. And with that comes dirtbike maintance. Spent this weekend getting the g-friends CRF150R Expert setup for woods riding. Handguards, skidplate, kickstand, oversized tank...thats one sweet little ride now. Got my CT90 running last week. Still have a carb issue to resolve and a rusty tank to clean out but its getting there. Kinda fun to plonk around on...lol

But I really do hope to get something done soon. Probably will be the wireing harness. My buddy with the wire crimper I want to use is moving close to me vs across the state. So ill grab that and start laying out some wire soon.

Man surfing Craigslist the other day and I spotted a running XS650 for $250... That was tough to let that one go. Can you say street tracker?

Ya all will be happy to know I spent about 2 hours last night driving around town trying to find the right parts to make my wireing harness. Im about 1/2 way there. Still need wire sheathing, heat shrink, and my crimp terminals then Ill start building the harness. Im actually a little excited to start on the harness. I havent done much wireing in a long time. Used to do a lot of car sterio stuff. But that was many moons ago. Will be nice to get back into it again. 1 more order to Mcmaster Carr for the last parts and Ill be diving into it.

In a funny little twist. I was at the autoparts store getting a headlight pigtail plug and got to talking with the parts monkey mentioning it was for a motorcycle project not a car. I mention the BSA he shows me a pic of his CB350 bobber hes building, I fliped out my phone picts, we bonded....

Then he gives me the name of a guy down the road a ways that has a old school bike shop. All old bikes, nothing new. Ive drove past it a few times but never stoped as it never looks open. But I guess the guy has tons of old bikes and parts in there. Says if he dont have it he can find it. Might have to go check this out.

A friend of mine just got in deep on a job for a customer. aparently someone just got themselves a running 67 Truimph for $1000 and wants an oil leak fixed. I went over and coached him a little on how to tear the clutch off and get to the tranny output shaft seal.

Well lets just say that this fella is going to be chasing leaks for a long time if he dont tear this motor apart. output shaft bearing is wasted. Crank has never been out so you can guess what the sludge trap is like. Its a bit of a mess. I just smiled and walked away. I told him to tell this fella that when hes tired of screwing with it and its all in a bucket ill give him $600 for it
