This is a good bike, I have enjoyed it for two years. Now I want something different, so it's up for sale. It has been rebuilt before I bought it, I have photos showing the rebuilt, the frame was stripped and powder coated. The paint is chemion turns Purple to Green, a couple of nicks on the top of the gas tank where the handle bars hit. Also I took a fall a little while back and cracked the frearing. The motor has the duel-spark plug heads and electronic ignition, so no fouled plugs. The exhaust pipes are stainless steel JAMA's. I have the Clymer and a couple of other books that go with it.

1982 CX500 Turbo. Just under 10,000 miles. This bike has been kept in like new condition. Allways garaged and kept covered. This is an extremely rare motorcycle. Runs flawlessly. Twin engine, Water cooled, turbo charged, EFI.

Always wanted one of those turbos. Or even take a reg cx 500 with low miles cheap. Good bikes in my humble opinion... I had a friend who put many miles on one then sold her to a friend that did like 90 on the interstate two up and torched the engine, probably with little maintainance.


That seems to be the key to all of em.

Yeah, I've also heard accounts of crazy high mileages on those things. I was pretty surprised to hear that the CX650 turbo made 97hp! Yikes. Not too shabby.

OK this has got to be the cheapest airhead GS yet:

1988 R 100 GS 1988 BMW R100GS New brembo caliper, rotor, galfer steel braided brake line, new rear tire, fairly recent drive shaft, rear shock, solid side bags, corbin seat, supertrapp exhaust, too much to list, all maintenance records and serviced at SF BMW or Desmoto sport. This was my go to bike for commutes to Napa Valley 3-4 times a week from San Francisco and my ride during the rain. The enduro has about 23k miles on it, has been to Brazil, Alaska, and New York...so it's been around the block. The frame is solid, could use a tune-up, it's been sitting in my garage for the past 6 months. The worst beating it took was being knocked over (and propped back up again) when I parked in between cars in San Francisco, so there's a couple dings on the tank. salvage title due to theft from the previous owner. $2600, firm on price, I'm the second owner. I really never wanted to sell my trusted Brahma Bull but I have 2 other bikes and need sell to due to another addition to my family, and mortgage payments.
