It's like a BMW GS, but with half the weight and half the price. Since I had neck surgery, I can't ride it any more. Great for exploring the highways and byways. Especially suited for winding dirt mountain roads and two-tracks. 1990 was the last year this bike was imported into the US. Basement and garage kept. Original owner.

I hate when people post ads with the price as a dollar, then state the real price in the body of the ad.

I see a rear brake pedal on the right. Also shift on right and no pedal for anything on left? But what really gets me is there is no front brake? Is there something here I'm not seeing? There is a hand lever on the right handlebar but no brake for the cable to go too?

It's a circle track race bike. That's how they're set up.

The tires, numbers, bars and front cassette didn't give it away? Also, I probably would not pay that price for a raced bike.
I have one in my basement, it's a bultaco bandido set up for short track. Definitely paid far less.

***1972 BMW R75/5, Showroom Condition*** - $5990 (Fort Payne Powersports)
107 Glenn Blvd SW

Fort Payne Powersports is a Yamaha Dealer located in Fort Payne, AL apprx 1 hr straight up I59 from Birmingham, AL.
We offer several financing options and TRADE INS always welcome!!!

We just took this unit in on trade from an older gentleman that wanted a motorcycle that he can ride his wife on a little more comfortably. When he brought it in the first thing I said was, "that thing belongs at Barbers!"

This is a 1972 BMW R75/5 The bike comes with everything in the pictures. We currently have the touring tank on the bike, but it comes with the impossible to find original BMW Toaster Tank.
The papers in the pictures are the bikes service records along with the owners manual.
This thing runs as well as the new bikes sitting in my showroom. To say that this thing has been baby'ed would be a huge understatement.
The bags are the original bags.
The owner made a few improvements over the years. For example the original carbs that came on the R75 prior to 1973 were not very good so he replaced them with the mikunis. The ignition and starting system also had the updates done to them.

You literally have to see this bike to truly appreciate it as the pictures do not begin to do it justice!!!

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us 256-997-9115. We are open everyday except Sunday.

i love cl ads with no pictures

this rd400 was listed yesterday @ 9am and when I texted the seller at around 6pm. asked a few questions and he texted me a few pics. drove 260 miles round trip to pick it up for $600.00.
after handing over the dough I asked if he had many inquiries on it, he said just me. most don't open the ad if it shows no picture.
one owner, his late father. been stored for 30+ years. 2300 miles.

1981 Kawasaki GPZ550 - $1100 obo - $1100

I have for sale a Red 1981 Kawasaki GPZ550 that is in good condition for a 30 year old bike. The bike was rebuilt and retuned by Kawasaki in 2001. I recently got a lot of work done on it and it is running great! Brand new starter, all 4 carbs have been rebuilt, new fork seals, new rear and front sprocket, new chain, and new battery. Also a new front brake lever (although no pictured). Only reason I am getting rid of it is for the money... I am a student and need some quick money to get me through the year. I am open to trades, but mostly looking for $1100 cash but is negotiable. Shoot me a text if you have any questions or want to see more pics. (757) 812 - 9 three 1 six. Thanks for looking!

Neat little vintage Kawasaki for a guitar

This young fellow has been trying to make this deal for quite a while here in Nebraska. Sounds like a fair swap.
