1991 Bumblebee with under 10K miles for $7K

ooooooo i want to spank it

Also just found this listed, back on July 11:
http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/mcy/1837800917.html

1975 R90/6 not running, but on 2nd engine, 1st blown engine included, $1500. Bike probably rested inside for 10 years.

Few weeks later, its running and the price is now $2000, with a new battery and presumably some fresher gas.

http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/mcy/1901226577.html

If the 1st engine's pistons arent coldwelded to the cylinders, its pretty good money there, if you like that sort of thing.

Could be an interesting project..

"Barn Fresh" Guzzi in the midwest. If I still lived in Ohio I'd be looking at this project.

1985 Rz350

Local bike, spoke with the owner this morning and he was not interested in trading for my 2002 R1150RT.

Needs cash to buy a car for his daughter.

Russian sidcar rig project in VA

I wish some deserving soul would buy this one:

http://richmond.craigslist.org/mcy/1923848892.html

The history and rarity of this bike make it well worth the asking price, as well as, the sidecar and frame are worth $1500.00 to $2000.00 easy. So, you really are getting the motorcycle at no cost, even though it does not run, a mechanically inclined person can have it going with a small amount of work.
. This motorcycle has had some restoration done on it. The engine was refurbished prior to being shipped to this country. I had the wheels respoked and powder coated along with new tires. It has a new distributor cap, rear end bearings( its shaft driven)new wheel bearings(all 4 wheels) and a few more odds and ends. The bike is not currently running due to, no battery ,bad plugs and clutch cable adjustment . A little bit of tinkering and it will fire right up on first or second kick. The engine is strong and runs good, it has strong compression. I have some spare parts and original Russian tires I will give the buyer ,as well as, 2 books on the bikes and some Russian paper work on the bike. It is a 750cc motor with shaft drive. It is a well built machine, the frame is solid steel and the engine is a flathead side valve. PLEASE, serious inquires only. Buyer is responsible for shipping and delivery. 757-250-3241

I first saw this bike on youtube, not sure what to think of it, but here it is for sale:

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...939367561.html

"1987 BMW R80 for $6500. The bike has had only three owners from new (including me), the original owner (an engineer) sold it to the builder (also an engineer and machinist) who built this as a experiment to see what he could do with metal, and the results show his skill. The builder found inspiration in many ways including renowned bike builder Shinya Kimura, creator of the Zero bikes and his own specialty creations, similar to the BMW in the minimalist, functional ideas and the bare metal finish. The builder spent a good long winter refining his design, building virtually everything on the bike including hand milling the headlight/tail light, the controls and handle bar, the seat and gas tank, the engine top case and the fender, along with many smaller elements.

Since owning the bike I have put some detail work into it including an antique glass doorknob that is now the oil filler cap, hand turned aluminum foot pegs, and brand new enduro style tires (Avon distanza on rear and Pirelli scorpion up front) and lastly an antique cameo mounted on the side rear fender. The pics accurately depict the condition of the bike, there will be no surprises of fancy pictures not matching reality.

The exhaust is stainless steel (also hand built) and sounds incredible here is a video of a start up-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOb_P77RcKo

And here is a flyby-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88EKZ6_3Moo the bike has been dialed in since this video, no back fire popping now.

The bike is insured and running strong, an amazing riding bike, (all spring/summer maintenance done). With mostly just aluminum left on it the bike picks up and goes quick and because it is BMW cruises on highways with ease and comfort. The seat is hard pan but the BMW mono shock suspension is capable of handling the bumps, no punishing smashing over cracks like a lot of hard pan seats. more pics available on request. thanks."

Looks like it has Lester's on it too. That would be a good start for someone.

1995 R100GSPD Classic 15700 miles. totally stock with factory bags, manual and original tool kit. Condition is 8.5/10. Bike starts easily, idles smoothly and runs perfectly. There were less than 120 of these motorcycles imported to the USA. Truly a collectible machine and a rare find in original stock condition.

*The replacement of tires, tubes, brakes, chain, sprockets, air filters and other minor parts should be anticipated.

Chain and sprockets on a BMW.

A 1972 R75/5 in Ohio. Not mine. If it is as nice in person as it is in the pictures, I think it is a fair price.

Sometimes it's sooo hard to not call some of these idiots and attempt to explain to them that there is an extra digit in the price that doesn't belong there.
Not to mention the bits that made Mike laugh!
