Like Jeff said in the first post, I wish the weekend was longer because I didn't even get a chance to meet everybody who was a part of the Bombrun this year.

It was super-fun crossing a river that doesn't exist, even though Ramjet almost got washed away!

The Fickle Finger of Fate pointed right at jtsurfs, but he just flipped the bird and made it home under his own power although his trusty Honda took some abuse from launching off a tree!

RickF kindly donated all that was in his cooler, icebox and trailer to thirsty riders, Thanks Uncle Rick and heal up well!

I missed what looks like a killer ride on Sunday in Kelly's video (which got even better at 2:06 into it!!!), Luckily Imgonnasnap, Ridgway and I preran the Waterfall Canyon portion on Friday.

Thanks again to everybody who made it out in spite of the harsh weather, we sure had fun and a great weekend!

Mike

That bike is freakin awesome, matt. By the end of Saturday I was really starting to feel comfortable doing just about anything on it.

It performed flawlessly all day regardless of what was thrown at it and still managed to get me back to camp with our fuel shortage.

went 140 miles, just like you said it would, without even needing to be tipped!

Some guys from expeditionportal.com were on the trail the same weekend. Came across this http://nwoods.smugmug.com/gallery/73...70877884_sbwCq

Doesn't look like any of you guys were involved. I was playing in the snow in Big Bear.

Later,

Gabe

Paramedic on scene

I stole the photo from the link posted above. The CHP paramedic in the photo is Doug Myers, the first trainee I trained on the CHP.

It would have been too strange to have been there when he landed.

We had a run in with the land rover going WAY too fast through a blind section pulling a trailer - he didnt seem too interested in slowing down, nor did the rest of the group.

Can you say cha-ching? Who four wheels a land rover with a snorkel?
