Thanks for the info... took the ride today but got messed up at the fork in the road... and got lost...

Next time I will get a GPS track to use.

Cheers,

I will try to clean up the map a bit more. The southern 2/3rds of the track, really isn't needed as it is just the forestry trunk road. The only real challenge is navigating through the "rock garden" right at the top, that I waypointed. The views from the top are worth it.
Thanks for the tracks and info for limestone. Made the trip today, no problems except for a few wrong turns since I didn't take the time to upload the .gpx file. Great day! Wasn't up to heading past the gate this time... Maybe next time with better rubber.

Anybody interested in a ADVrider coffee night this week? Warm evenings are soon ending!

Fairly flexible as long as it's reasonably warm (to ride).

FlossandFly said he'd be down as well provided he can make it.

I'm thinking Thursday evening @ Starbucks on 17th?

We can all pose it up and drink crappy, overpriced coffee. The bonus is the view is good and there's action to keep us entertained.

Would be nice to get at least a table full of people though?

Another option is the Purple Perk on 4th. Heard it was good??

I like Bumpies, but they have terrible hours for stuff like this.

I'd be wanting to do 7ish. I have to get home, walk and feed the hound then I could get ready and go.

No BMW, but I was reading up on the Husky Terra, problem is I'd buy a used X challenge from the states instead just to qualify for BMW poser cred.

Sadly, there is no perfect bike. Thinking long term and a trip bike though. Maybe a commuter in summer.

Still wanna plan a hang out night at my place soon. If its not too dry, fire pit, some drinks and bike talk. Lemme know who's in and I'll figure a night and numbers and get it planned.

Will come if I can. Too bad I have to miss the coffee hang out on thursday. One night we should ride down 17th in ATGATT and see how many looks of contempt we can get from the tee shirt, shorts, half helmet riders.

That appears to be the WillowPark Starsmucks..

I'd be down for a BBQ and bikes.

I can still make Starbucks on Thursday night if people are in. My bike and gear are filthy, but that's fine. Can't look like I ride a BMW..

Also, dual sport trip this weekend is on my mind. Maybe a rip over North Fork, Hartley, around and through Morressey / Flathead and back up the 40 the back way.

Any interest? I'd need to find a dog sitter. Other than North Fork, the passes are all easy. North Fork isn't too bad except a couple rock ledges and the ride down on lots of rolling rocks.

I'm in for the tomorrow (Thurs) Starbucks "adventure".
Just waiting for my ebay "Toor-a-tek" stickers for the DR though... to fit in of course

... though, since it's on 17th, maybe I'll just wear flip-flops and a wife beater and take my croozer... decisions, decisions.

I'm hoping to make the Fourbucks party. I'll make sure I have all of my luggage on the bike as well as my GPS for the big trek down there... Oh, and the tank bag with a map too. What air pressure should I run?

LOL. I'm going to be rocking it old school though, leaving the katoom at home and will be representing team Tron. You'll know what I mean when I ride up....

So, to confirm, you guys are meeting down on 17th at around 7 tomorrow? I'll likely get there about 8. I look forward to meeting you goons.

Wes

What's the yammer with the blue/purple paint and yellow stripes? I think it was a yammer...

Here it is! The old RZ350... The Tron reference made a better picture in my head..

Mmm.. 2-stroke goodness.

Yes, 7pm. Thursday evening. 17th across from Melrose. You can likely get parking right on the corner. Real posers park right in front of the no-parking sign so they can be situated closer to their ride. That way fellow coffee goers can easily pair them up with their bike.

PS, you guys are making me want to clean my bike and gear.... lol Oh well, no time for that tonight. Dirty it is.

LOL, I've been on the hunt for a Seca Turbo to be honest... Maybe I'll borrow my buddy's zero mile CX650 Turbo... Lets just say he's the other half of team Tron.

Try as I may, the gouges wont buff out of my Hepco Becker bags... Looks like I'll have to replace them
