Have fun tomorrow, and don't forget your panniers!
Bummer Beema, I was almost in the same situation.
Maybe next time we should meet up at Coffee and Scream! http://members.shaw.ca/coffeeandscream/index.htm
I'm almost not joking... imagine a bunch of guys showing up on big nasty bikes with the kiddies in tow. The looks on the ladies faces would be priceless Particularly when we pulled the kids out of the panniers

Just buy whatever is the most expensive and dump it after 500 km just to be sure and put in fresh, so buy lots!!! Strap the extra jugs on the panniers with the lables facing out and the price tags are still on them. Motorex should fit that bill.

Will people make fun of me if I have a GPS on my bike, and my paniers ARE installed?

At least I run cheap oil.. =) But I do change it every 2000km.... haha.

Ah, the joys of owning an XRR.

Gents it was great to meet you all last night whilst "posing" at Starbucks!
I hope you all get out for a good ride this weekend and I hope that next week's "inclement weather prediction" is but a small delay in an extended fall riding season... here's hoping!

Anyone riding tomorrow?

Too bad I couldn't make the posing. Maybe next time.
Will be good to get out before the "inclement weather". Hope to get out on a fun "possible last ride".

Glad you made it! You and Shibby were representing for the hardcore dirt (dirty) crowd. Me I looked like a poser with the clean bike, sorry I can't help it, I like clean bikes. The Interceptor 750 was very cool, and brought back memories, ah the 80's, good times. Really good to meet all you guys!

At first I thought I was going to really look like a poser, all bye myself, Unfashionably early.....

Twas a good time for sure!

Nice to meet you guys. For the first ADVrider Poser night it was a good turn-out!

I'm hoping to get out this weekend, but I also will be attempting to POR15 the frame on my Toyota which is known to be extremely labour intensive....

I'll see how much time I can find to get at least a half day roosting!

Thinking maybe some Bar C riding, maybe out to Mclean or something. I'd love to do some mountain passes but time doens't permit.

Tomorrow a.m. is looking iffy, but by noon it should be good. I am going out both days (Sunday looks better all around). Probably go up Moose, just for the colors and then down the main road at McLean to the horse riding place (Mesa Butte) and up to the old gas plant, then a bit of exploring around there. I'll send you a PM in the a.m. to give you an ETA for Bragg Creek.

Twas totally tubular vegging out to the max with you righteous dudes.

Sorry, still feeling the effects of representing Team Tron on the '83 Interceptor. Quite the eclectic mix of bikes, from an XRR that likely has never been washed to a 990 that had polished tires. Not rims. TIRES ;-)

Riding Limestone Mountain early tomorrow morning. Tis gonna be cold, thank the good lord for heated shit.

Here is a preview of Limestone for you. You should enjoy the Rock Garden.

I hope you have a dental plan at work, it may rattle a few teeth loose.

I will be at "The Cinnamon Spoon" in Bragg Creek for 11:00 Saturday morning before heading out riding, if anyone else wants to join in.
