Studded tires on their way, but that's trail only. Brap!
Just bought studded rear and going to stud a front any idea where i can get some cheap rims?

Roads were fine. Couple of tricky corners. Be better tonight.

Cheap and wheels don't go together...

Cheapest hoops would probably be Moose. Stock or Warp 9 hubs. Or just buy complete warp 9 wheels (500-600?)

Coupled with studded tires (500-900), winter riding isn't cheap.

I just use the same wheels and spoon on studded tires.

Have fun!

Winter riding can be amazing, and not so great. The good days make up for it.

Good snow and good friends make those days hard to beat.

Undecided as to what I'll replace it with... likely a multi-cylinder adv touring ride. Looking forward to seeing what the manufacturers have at the bike show in 2014.
You should trade for my 07 TE510. You know you're going to want a more dirt capable machine once you get out on the heavy touring bike.

This morning was colder. Roads were much better though. Riding season continues!

Thanks for the offer - but I have a plated 250 2-stroke for the dirty bits. Looking for something a bit more road oriented than the TE610... a Ducati Elefant would fit the bill very nicely :)

Hey everyone!!

New to the forum, I'm going to be picking up an adventure bike by next spring and looking at all the pictures and reading about the rides is making me pretty excited to get out and explore off the beaten path!!!

Current ride is a 2008 KTM 950 SM but an adventure bike is going to be the new steed, I ride lots of single track and will be spooning the trellies on the dirtbike right away for winter trail riding so at least I have that to hold me over for now...

Anyways some awesome shots everyone!!!!

Yes - same bike is in the Flea Market here too... and I have a business trip to Minneapolis in a few weeks. Hoping to get a chance to check it out in the flesh.
