Found mud...

Went out on the gravel in the NW of Calgary. I got a little reminder early in the season, look where you want to go. Or conversely, don't look where you don't want to go.

Took a soil sample. Thankfully it was soft and at low speed.

I made it out for a short ride today also, testing out my new Ricor Intiminators Valves...so far so good. fork action reduced to almost no brake dive. Time will tell if handling has been improved, to much pea gravel to be to aggresive

I have a shiny new 450X that might want to tag along if spring break up takes my rig to the yard... There should be a box of parts waiting for me at home to bolt on and keep it somewhat in one piece, lol!

lots of cool stuff there to do. Arches is a cool park, you will want to rent a real dirt bike too, to explore some of the real trails.

[QUOTE=Lycan1;23713084]It is more about all the salt that I can't wash off when I get home.

Mud will protect your bike from salt.

Is that one of the Gas Gas rentals from these guys: http://www.dualsportutah.com/? I met the owner on a bike trip in Baja - seemed like a good guy with a decent business going in Moab.

Couple of us out again today. Wow. Dusty. Rode a new WC 1200GS. Nice bike. Still like my S10 though.

Gettin the itch

Crapper - a new dump of snow here in Sundre. Really need to get out. Tired of playing with the tiger in the garage. Anyone interested in showing me around the McLean lake area? I am planning Limestone mountain also but perhaps when there is less white stuff on the ground...

Let me know if you want someone to join you, I'm in Sundre as well. I'm riding a Yamaha S10.

Limestone

Will do. I will post ahead of time. Agree with Lycan - best to wait. When do things usually open up near Bragg Creek? Would like to start looking for time to take off of work...
