I'm crossing my fingers on having the XR650R done by this weekend (waiting on parts), we may have to go for a rip! Only problem is I can only go about 100 miles on fuel, until I get a bigger fuel tank. May have to bring a long hose in case we need to syphon haha.

That's why Macuser carries a jerry can.... I only get about 140 km on my bad boy.

Yeah I think my stock tank is about the same size as his, mine's 10.3 liters I think. Need to strap a small one to the rear or front fender I guess. If I'm heavy on the throttle I don't see getting much more than 100km's.

Be ready for DS rides when my 950 SE arrives next week (hopefully), in the meantime I can do street with the M109R (gotta sell that though to offset the cost of the SE

)

Well I guess I'm a new DSer around Calgary, been riding road bikes for a few years now and recently got a great deal on a 1979 Honda XL500. I need some signal lights for it though. I can't wait to hit the dirt roads and goat paths. Just hopefully the old girl holds together!

I should be off roading in waiporous on saturday with studded tires (ktm 450exc) then dual sport riding on sunday with my KTM lc4 640 enduro. Anyone interested in dual sporting on sunday should send me an email. We should get a bunch of people out.

Made it out to Drumheller on Sunday. For anyone in Calgary looking for a good spot to get some early season off-road riding in this is the place. No snow or mud and pretty decent selection of trails to ride.
