New Caglary dual sporter to add to the list here, I got the heads up on this thread from RiderEh.

I ride a 2007 KTM 400XCW that I dual sported. I'm not real big on long milers or too much pavement, but other than that, I'm up for just about anything. Exploring new areas and back roads is actually my first love, I've only being doing the "real" offroad stuff since I moved to Calgary.

The only problem is, I have two kids at home under two. So needless to say, my time is a little limited.

I'm friends with RiderEh. We usually go to Waiparous or McLean Creek when it's opened up. Lately we've been going to Waiparous because McLean is closed still. This weather is a real drag. Are you personal friends with RiderEh or meet online?? Is your 400 street legal or do you have another bike?

Wowsers, 2 under 2 is crazy. I have a 3 year old and a 9 month old. Drop a line if you make it to the Crowsnest Pass after July 21st.

Myself and worone might be interested in doing a ride in crowsnest. I could also do something with my more other more off road oriented budds. Are there many guys who ride single track out there?

Thumb Single/double track

There is plenty of stuff out that way and the local group is growing. I am sure there is an old school group that has been there forever, but there is a new group that is growing as well.

August is prime time in the Pass provided the forest does not get shut down. Give me a heads up if you are coming down. I am taking a long hiatus from work after Japan and will be ready to ride any day of the week with a bit of notice.

have fun

I've never met RiderEh, we're just both members of the RMDRA.

My 400 is street legal.

I would LOVE to do a ride out in the Crowsnest. I've been down there quite a bit snowmobiling, but never dirtbiking. Just exploring and seeing the area would be fine by me, but some single track would be the icing on the cake.

I'll watch the site and see, sometime in mid July-August would probably be the best for me too.

We should get a KTM hardcore DS ride going here, I also have a 07 KTM 450 exc. I have ridden down in the Crowsnest area and it's on my list this year for sure. Amazing scenery, and deserted trails. I rode the Kook a few weeks back, still a little slick in the trees but the south side was perfect.
